I do wish people who let their children write the envelopes would check they are correct before posting them. I've had 2 now that I was lucky to get. One had so many spelling mistakes/crossings out it was hard to read and the other had half the address missing.
Or are these deliberate mistakes?0 -

I hope that when you came to the last page recording the receipt of the one with an incomplete address you remembered to select the "not correct" radio button. If you do that, I'm sure they will look at the envelope and, of course, they will be able to contact the sender(s).0 -

I've not had that problem but have received a 2nd letter today from the Isle of Man but when confirming details it mentions Channel Islands so make sure you check the stamps carefully on your received letters.
I suspect that their system includes the Isle of Man with the Channel Islands but they are a few hundred miles apart!0 -

Sorry I don't quite understand. It was my address that was incorrect with parts missing. Would it matter if it came from IOM or Channel Islands. I've had them from the latter with no problems.0 -

I think redaglia was just pointing out that it is not just the address it is sent to which should be checked but also the other things they mention (like amount of postage paid). Redaglia had already said they hadn't had the problem you had.0 -
After reading the results om the ''News and Features'' page, I would like to share this with you, it comes from Saturdays' editon of The Evening Times in Glasgow.
Royal Mail misses targets.
Royal Mail narrowly missed its delivery targets in the spring, but more than nine out of 10 first and second-class letters were deljvered on time in recent weeks.
The company missed its first-classnext day delivery target of 93% by 1.6% in the three months to June, andits second-class three-day delivery target of 98.5% by just 0.1%.
But both targets were hit in the five weeks to mid-july, with the overwhelming majority of mail delivered on time in the latest period.Like good food and drink?

If anyone is running out of SMARTs I think I know why - I currently have 17 in stock  with 5 allocated. This is the most I've ever had and I can't even close the SMART holder. I'm wondering what the odds are that within the next few days they'll ask for them all back then have to send me a couple more to complete my postings :rotfl:
SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0
