If there is only one collection from the postbox you use does it matter if it isn't quite in the time slot they say?

When does the smart kick in?

Don't worry about only having one collection. I have that situation with one of my boxes but it has never been a problem. When it is received the panellist will put in the franking information which will show the time it reached the sorting office. In any case, RM have the usual collection times for each postbox in their data.

The smart records at certain points within the postal service. There is some information on this on RM website.

I've got the same notice too, it wasn't there round about 7pm this evening.

Just be sure to post before the box marked collection time on the day on the schedule.

Sometimes I'll get post after 1pm but before final collection on Sat Post office, - yet ours all collected by 11.30am, so I work on the basis I've posted on the right day xx

I'm not sure about what you are saying here.

Is it that, although the schedule you have is to post after 1 pm you post before 11.30 am because that is before the final collection OR do you post after 1 pm (so report on-line that you have posted after the final collection)?

I've just checked the FAQ section of the website and it says
Please try to post your items during the time period suggested on your Posting Schedule. If this is not possible, please ensure you before the last collection time at your chosen Post Box.

Hi, sorry thats me, the schedule said after 1pm but before final collection, but unfortunately on a Sat the latest collection on the post boxes I use, the latest collection is 11.30am, so I have to post before then, but I enter my time as 11.30am, that way it keeps the post emptied on a Saturday. x
