I have loads of the 'SMART return' envelopes as I get sent one every week but only occasionally have to return any SMARTs.

Anyone else have this problem? Did you return them to Kantar

I've got loads of those. Every now and then I just shove a handful into a large envelope and send them back!

Good idea! That's what I'll just go and do.

    Thanks.

I was led to believe that the large envelopes (the ones used to return mail) are just put into storage and not routinely opened unless there is a specific query. If that is still the case, returning SMART envelopes in them is not serving any useful purpose.
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

I didn't take Chocmonster's message to mean that. I thought she meant that she put it into a plain envelope which she then sent back to Kantar (which is what I have done).

I've had conflicting views on whether the big envelopes are opened on return or just shoved in storage. When I have returned the excess envelopes I've done it in a plain envelope but I suppose you could use one of the big plastic ones if you took the barcode label off. That way they'd have nothing to scan on receipt to tie it to a panel member and would have to open it! :)

If we are sent a packet of paper do we send it all back or just the envelope and R number? It's very weighty!
