Hi All i feel awful not being able to keep up with the thread i feel like i am missing out.

My best friends in hospital and has had a breakdown. She is on a level 3 section as she has been trying to harm herself.
I have been to see her and i am so sad.
She is not the friend i know and love but i understand she is in the right place.
She has suffered all her life with mental health problems and has been in and out of hospital. She was fine last Sunday apart from a chest infection where she coughed that much she was sick. The doctors think that she has not absorbed any or her medication due to the sickness and this is why she is so poorly.

I had to leave my bestest friend ever the other day on her hands and knees begging m to end her pain. The staff had to prize her fingers off of my legs.

Just had to share this, if i said this out loud i would not be able to speak for the tears.

Given I can be evil Mum, I think I will fill the crate, take it to her room and if its not emptied and tidy by next day, it will be emptied into a binbag and binned.:cool::beer:

I dont think thats eveil - I think thats very sensible way to make them realise it cannot continue!!!:T:T:T:T
Quillion massive hugs and strength vibes for you and your lovely friend - MY goodness no wonder you are feeling dreadful - but you are so right - she is in the best place for a good recovery and hopefully once they get her meds stabilised again she will be much better. I understand how much you want to help her - and be with her - have you talked to the staff about your visits - do they think they are good for her? and you have to consider you too (hard as it may seem) please take comfort from the fact that they will try to do everything for her to stop all the pain and suffering and get her back on track.
