    Quillion huge hugs for you
    helenjelly congrats on the wedding

I must wash the good china, sort sport kit for sports day, put boys to bed, get their bags and uniform ready as they are off to breakfast club, iron stuff for work tomorrow, write tribunal response for client one, and write statement to read to staff for client 2 ready for tomorrow - so why did I drink far too much with lunch? Mostly because I hadn't seen my lovely FIL since he was diagnosed and they came for lunch today. It really brings it home just how little time he has left when you see him face to face, shocked at just how ill he looks.

The demon child of chaos has crowned his weekend by climbing on the green roof I lovingly built last year and destroying most of the plants. This is when I am glad of a purring kitten sat on my knee and a loving and understanding husband who knows just when to remove the child from the house for a couple of hours.

mummyof5, two of mine that were green yesterday are now red, so any day now (toms).

Jo - my tomato plants have only just got going. I have a couple of flowers, but that's it. Same with the mangetout. And the aubergine plants are still only about 10 cm high with half a dozen leaves!

Right... must stop faffing about and go and deadhead the roses... and possibly tie up the tomatoes and mangetout.

Quillion - huge hugs and prayers for you and your friend; you know she is in the best place but I understand how hard it is to leave her there. Hopefully, her meds will kick in soon and she'll begin to improve. She is lucky to have such a good friend as you and your support will mean so much to her - take care of yourself and try to stay strong for her xx

Parents evening tomorrow so I have the joy of sitting in the hall for 2 hours with the prospect of 3 or 4 sets of parents coming at the most  Ah well - only 2 and a half weeks left!
