  • Afternoon Everyone

Before I forgot (distinct possibility) Happy birthday to Pigpens DD and also to Jo I think! - see forgot already ........

I have just got in but have done the following since I have been away:
    • collect DS from GF
    • bought 2 x clothes rails in Argos - reduced by £2 each
    • done food shop - got most things
    • put cold stuff away
    • decluttered a cup of tea, more pain killers and a slice of coffee cake - my favourite especially as DD and DS do not like it - more for me!!
    • put southern fried chicken portions in to cook for late lunch
Thanks for the kind thoughts Tootifrooti and Rose Pink - Yes is does feel like I have lots of Mum's stuff here to sell - trouble is they need the money for carpets etc n new place. They are on the list and as they have been tenants since the 70's were banded as D but I have just written to their GP to ask for her support as with medical need they will go to a band B. I hope that then they should move before the end of the summer - will be such a relief for me - time and worry .......

I do try and get DS and DD to help - they can be helpful sometimes but I use more energy in all the shouting and nagging that sometimes it is not worth the struggle.

Will be getting another xray of leg next week as no 'lesions' (what on earth does that mean - does sound scary tho') showed up on xray of pelvis - I did tell them that the pain starts in lower leg over site of old fracture - but still what do I know!!

Vanilla - hugs for you - I hope your DH will accept some support soon - I know how hard it is as it took me years before I could get Mum to tell GP what was wrong - she was spending 5 to 6 days of the week in bed at that point only to go to GP an when asked how she was would simply state 'I'm fine Dr'. Turns out her depression stems from childood abuse by uncle - not something she has ever discussed with anyone before. Now her progress back from depression is very slow but at least it is there. It is very frustrating for you as a carer to watch the person with mental health problems to struggle with choices that seem obvious to us.
