Farmers' market was great. Especially these
. I've had a rhubarb one, and it actually has rhubarb in it, not jam!
I also got strawberries, cherries, spinach, courgettes, sausages and bacon to put in the freezer. And some of these in case the sun shines again.
My brother has just emailed the timetable for the wedding through... must remember to find out what I'm reading and practice it. As the weather isn't great today, I think I might do a bit of lying around reading, then see whether I can summon up the energy for gardening, washing and a walk later on...
Good to hear the vet has been thorough testing everything Mudbath - hopefully she's just got a sore mouth (Pigpen's suggestion is a possibility) and will be fully recovered soon.0 -
Glad the woofer's OK Mudders. It always amazes me that vets can get blood tests back so quickly when us humans have to wait ages!
I know, we're so lucky to have a good vet. They actually have a clinic on a saturday and sunday morning because they say that animals don't know they shouldn't be ill at the weekend. Saves a massive emergency vet fee. Mind you, with the problems our animals have had.....cancer, diabetes, brain tumour, colitus...I reckon we've paid for yearly holidays for each vet.
I'm starting to wonder why animals run away from us when we go to rehoming centres....I guess word has got out that we get all the unhealthy animals! xx0 -
My battery is going! Goodbye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xx0
