    Morning Everyone. :D

I did that 'wake up in a panic' thing, when you think you've got to be at work, and you're going to be shockingly late! Then remembered that I don't have to be anywhere!

I still feel a little bit shaky from it!
My lovely DH is making breakfast ( for those that were here earlier in the year... I never thought I'd call him 'my lovely DH' again... but here were are, he is and I am :D ) I have no idea what time he was up, so I need to go and thank him for my lie in.

I think today we might take the children to the cinema. I want to spend some nice time with them not doing chores.

My training has finished now, so I'll be starting my proper hours which will be every thurs, and 2 saturdays a month. I think it'll be really weird after working 3 days a week for the last month.

See you later... big sunday breakfast to eat :D

chances are that anyone who is getting 5 stars has been doing this for a while. And it does depend what's on the list... I managed 5 this week purely because Pigpen didn't put 'tidy the desk' on there, otherwise I'd still be filing :o

The question is whether your DD's room is worth doing - if you sort it out properly will she then keep all her stuff in there and not make a mess in the rest of the house? Or will she just undo all your good work - in which case, you might as well just concentrate on the rest of the house, and have a large crate to chuck her stuff in as you go, which you deposit back in her room each day. If you have an extra room (spare room, utility etc. ) that you can substitute for the kids room on the list, then you can get your 5 stars without the need to banish DD from the house! There are a few of us who don't have kids rooms to do, and we substitute (soappie does her utility room, I do either the utility or spare room, froddy does her spare room etc).
I hate being so competitive sometimes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well I really need to do something with her room, it IS that bad:mad::mad:

I will do it this week if it kills me, it probably will:o:eek::rotfl:

Then your crate idea will be coming into play:T:T:T:T:T

I have no other room to sub with, or would have done it long ago:p:p:p

Right I am off to get ready for work:wave:

Bother cats are getting too good at killing birds - yesterday a huge wood pigeon by the backdoor - I never knew they had so many feathers! and now a poor female blackbird - even worse DS1 is not here to clear it up

  • Hi everyone,

Toots - i've completed all lists so 5 stars please my lovely! :D

Hope everyone is well, bigs hugs and neccessary vibes to all who need/want them especially lady-l!

My memory is shocking so congrats to sexy on the new job, helen and kaz on the weddings and valli on getting the interview and sorry to anyone i've missed/forgotten!

Well life is calming down slightly - i was offered a new job on Thursday evening so one less worry, just have to tell my current boos now! I did say i was going to look when she announced she would block any attempt to apply for rebanding since our job has changed beyond all recognition from the original job spec (NHS and agenda for change stuff) so i'm off to do what appears to be less work for more money and better career prospects as my title will change it will open up more opportunities to move into management!

Off for a walk with the pup and my niece later so hoping the rain holds off!
