  • well it is now 09.47 and I am 2 minutes late for my first HHC - in my defence DD has arrived downstairs this side of mid day - first for weeks!!

She wanted to declutter all of th milk (2 thirds of a 2 pint bottle) and I said no and sent her to the shop to buy more first..... A women has to have her tea - especially when flying!

Right - please send a kick up the backside so that I start my HHC - DD has actually offered to wipe up - un nagged or even prompting from me...... I am stunned!!

3 stars!!!! - Jinky - I don't thinkI will ever get even 1 - at least not for weeks yet as I have way too much stuff - so 3 is great!!!

Maybe worth looking at which room is one of the ones that you don't get stars for - is there a pattern - do you need to work more in this room to bring it up it up to getting stars level - if you see what I mean!

I have now decluttered my pills and a cup of tea - start HHC in 10 mins....... scared now - kitchen is my ROD+++++ within a HOD

Morning everyone. Another very warm day here. I think like yesterday we may have heavy rain later. Got up to see an ambulance outside. Realised it was a patient transport one bringing my neighbour home. She has mental health probs and ends up in hopital every few weeks now. It makes me anxious as one of these days it may go too far. I think she has been in 14 times this year so far. Thought last night she must be away again as her son had friends in drinking.

Right Im off to Mr Ts as Ive made my mind up what to make for lunch. Then will finish the bedroom and do a bit in other rooms.

    kazw Big hugs.
Triker I love your chooks. Trying to persuade GSs to get some.
    Helen Jelly Congratulations.
pigpen. Love the song that made me laugh.
thrifty Thats good news about the house.
Mudbath. Sending positive vibes for your pooch.
    Lady L Sending hugs.
    Toots Hugs.

chances are that anyone who is getting 5 stars has been doing this for a while. And it does depend what's on the list... I managed 5 this week purely because Pigpen didn't put 'tidy the desk' on there, otherwise I'd still be filing :o

The question is whether your DD's room is worth doing - if you sort it out properly will she then keep all her stuff in there and not make a mess in the rest of the house? Or will she just undo all your good work - in which case, you might as well just concentrate on the rest of the house, and have a large crate to chuck her stuff in as you go, which you deposit back in her room each day. If you have an extra room (spare room, utility etc. ) that you can substitute for the kids room on the list, then you can get your 5 stars without the need to banish DD from the house! There are a few of us who don't have kids rooms to do, and we substitute (soappie does her utility room, I do either the utility or spare room, froddy does her spare room etc).

I meant to get up early this morning, but lay in bed reading instead  so I'd better get dressed and get myself into town for the farmers market... I need fruit & veg... and maybe a few other little treats :D

I would go to the tip on the way, but it'll be a nightmare on a Sunday, so I think I'll save that for during the week.

Happy flying to those who are still working their way through the lists...

    Morning all

Mudders - You'll have been to the vet now and I really hope they have found out what is wrong with your poorly pooch

Helen wishing you both a wonderful wedding day

PenPen - can you all complain to the council and get the license revoked?

Dozidoed around the kitchen with the younger too who decided they did not want to go to Silverstone with DH and DS1 - bang goes my lovely peaceful day on my own. Never mind they are both tired, sneezing and usually get on well together so shouldn't be too bad.

Soappie - it is humid here again and like you I'm a tad bored of it now.

    Off to find my list
