Just been sitting on the patio step from kitchen dining room watching a chaffinch mum feeding her baby from the feeder. Baby hasn't got full markings yet and is a right little chubby thing. It was just sat on the fence waiting for mum to pop feed into it's mouth. Lovely sight, just like watching spring watch!!

    Right it's official : I AM A DIRTY B$TCH OF THE HIGHEST ORDER!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Just dragged fridge freezer out and the amount of dirt and fluff behind and under was gross!!! Cleaned both sides and de-clogged air venty thing at the back that was full of fluff and muck. Am now sweating like mad, good job I'm still in dressing gown and haven't got showered yet. Everyone still asleep and don't want to wake them.
Also put 3 smallish lamb shanks in slow cooker with stock and mint, so only have the veg to prepare now for dinner tonight

I appear to have missed so much of the thread - hugs to thse that need them (especially for Mudbaths pooch) and Congratualtions for lots of others - I think I have gathered it is about jobs and weddings!

Well got back really late from Mum's as traffic was a bit heavier espeically on M25. Did very well - 2 car full's to the Dump including telly that kept going off. Brought downstairs a VERY VERY dusty portable TV - connected it and tuned it in. (Mum was getting very cross with old telly witching itself off at crucial points in CSI - bless)
Also moved 2 x small book cases, large lamp and smll table up to garage - have planned to keep excess bits there - all small enough for Dad and I to move - until they have moved house then see what if any will fit the new place.

Also spent ages persauding Mum to get rid of papers - why does she need a 'How to read your Meter' booklet??? She got a bit cross at thsi point so I left it and carried on clearing. Decluttered at least 20 rusty baking tins and old biscuit tins then showed Mum just how much is still in the shed - wardrobe full of material, old sideboard full of old vases and pots, another cupboard full of little bits buttons, zips, etc. This does not include the shelves full of records yet more books and puzzles. Think Mum is finally getting the picture that need to be ruthless with decluttering as will definately not fit it all in a sheltered flat or bungalow.........

plan next week is for them to get 2 hanging rails then we will demolish the built in wardrobes and take to dump - also to dismantle the now empty furniture in the shed and dispose of them to the dump.

  • Tis Me again!!

    List for ME today -

Well I would like to sit and watch men in uniform and planes/chinook's at Waddington buuuuut I have to fly here - not a happy bunny now!

    So here goes:
    • lots of HHC in kitchen as it is totally gross especially as was not here since Thursday - 2 teenagers fending for them selves - you get the picture - EEEW!
    • my washing only - will do bath mats and towels but no teenagers washing
    • clean toilets - no time for bathroom
    • shopping
    • collect DS from girl friend's
    • buy hanging rail form Argos as need to pick up all of Mum's clothes that I am selling for her and they are deorating my LR and hall floor.
    • HHG to plant up next section of flower bed that DS has finally dug.
    • Finish mileage claim for work
    • list 10 things on ebay
    • unpack car of things brought back from Mum's to sell
Not sure if there is a weekend list that I should attempt but will start with my list - seeing as I usually do nothing it will be a huge improvement.

Will delutter a cup of tea and take pain killers and will then start at 09.45.

I haven't read back yet, but ((((((hugs))))) for anyone who needs them

I still have a lot to catch up on this week

Am I EVER gonna get more than 3 stars? :D:rotfl:
    :heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls
  • 3 stars!!!! - Jinky - I don't thinkI will ever get even 1 - at least not for weeks yet as I have way too much stuff - so 3 is great!!!

Maybe worth looking at which room is one of the ones that you don't get stars for - is there a pattern - do you need to work more in this room to bring it up it up to getting stars level - if you see what I mean!

I have now decluttered my pills and a cup of tea - start HHC in 10 mins....... scared now - kitchen is my ROD+++++ within a HOD
