If they didn't turn up it was because of bad weather. They do their best not to miss a gig. I have sat on the perimeter of an airport more than once in appalling weather conditions (think rain, strong winds etc.) and they have done their best to get off the ground and go visit the next place on the list. They don't chicken out for nothing.
yes that what I was thinking soappie which was what made it more strange as the weather here was great so it must have been bad on route somewhere.

They both calmed down quickly earlier although i've still got Ds1's xbox and he's not having it back until he's cleaned his room;).
well done holly - what about taking it from him on a regular basis (like every sat morning)until he earns it by cleaning his room - it may then become more of a habit for him to do his room :confused:
sounds like you ahd a good time Dusty
pigpen:rotfl::rotfl:thanks for the song !!!!! HSbirthday11.gifto your DD1 hope she has a great day HS473949fjm3tcg78d_7404.gif- how old is she?

oh yes its in writing now TAG :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:but i will let you ease yourself back in gently:rolleyes:- I will expect the dailies to be done every day this week - and you can work up to stars next week!!!!thumbs%20up.gif

Mudbath lots of healing vibes for old doggy - hope you got on ok at the vet. (hugs)
PenPen I wish liscensing authorities would listen to the people it will affect:mad::mad: You and your neighbours need to write and complain about noise whenever it happens so that it is looked at when their renewal comes up and they should be getting a visit too if people complain to remind them of the conditions of their licence.
carlsberggal now stop that right now young lady - you are not dirty - if you were you wouldnt be cleaning or you wouldnt be bothered about the mess you have found - these place all get neglected and if the itrem is too heavy to move then its inevitable that it gets dusty etc behind it - stop being so hard on yourself:mad::mad: Love the chaffinches - that must be super to watch.
methekids oh honey you certainly have your work cut out with your Mum and her 'stuff' - how long do you have before they move? Its a good idea to move un-needed items to the garage out of the way for now it will give you more room to move - by the sounds of things you will half her house back in your to sell!
get the kitchen list printed off and get DD to help you - explain to her how much stuff you have to do from your Mum's and you cannnot do it all yourself - if she doesnt want to do the kitchen then get her to do the loos - give her an alternative??? and DS too when he comes back could he hoover or something - they have had it easy while you have been busy - time to crack the whip -they need to muck in and work with you - you are entitled to some me-time too - sorry I hope I havent offended you (((hugs)))
SSL hope you have a lovely day at the wedding and it all goes to plan - remember I want to see piccies!!!
sexy glad you had a nice time - hopefully you will be able to use/freeze the leftovers so not too much waste.

And thats brilliant jinky - focus on your achievements! and look at where you are getting stuck and aim to get to grips with that room - even if its just a little bit more for a week or two you will get there and it wont be a back breaker.
SS supergirl hellowave.gif hi babes - hope you enjoyed your brekkie and the cinema if you go - it will be better for you now to get into a routine with your work
DayDreambeliever more good news on the thread - excellent about the job - sounds like the right move for you - hope it all works out - when do you start?
Sunnygirl - glad the burn is healing but sorry not a good enough excuse to get out of ironing!!:rotfl:
mudders glad its none of the real nasties - hope whatever it is clears up very quickly - gentle hugs for pooch - and will you stop saying my Stripes isnt too bright - you will give her a complex poor thing - no wonder she wants to come and stay with her aunty tootles!! :rotfl:
lav with you lot as minders I have no option but to behave thanks!!!! glad the preparations for moving are going well - it will be soooo much easier if you have decluttered - and maybe you will be able to get into good routines for the new house too.

ok off to see about lunch - not having a carer sunday lunchtimes from now.
its been wet here this morning and cloudy so dont know if it will clear later yet.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Just been sitting on the patio step from kitchen dining room watching a chaffinch mum feeding her baby from the feeder. Baby hasn't got full markings yet and is a right little chubby thing. It was just sat on the fence waiting for mum to pop feed into it's mouth. Lovely sight, just like watching spring watch!!
    That sounds lovely, how sweet!

I am crippled today with a headache, and really bad heartburn which disturbed my sleep so I'm also shattered. Moan moan whinge whinge.

    Hugs Toots and Lady Liberty

Helen, yes I love having my hair done – must go more often. Congratulations, I hadn’t realised you are getting married, are you excited? I’m so happy for you, your husband to be sounds lovely. Please please post pictures!

Thifty, really glad to hear you have sold the house! Yay!

    Hugs Grateful

LL hope you have a great time at the Albert hall today

Mudders, hope elderly pooch is ok now she’s been to the vet

Pen Pen, if you all complain every time the pub is noisy would they revoke the late license? Keep a record of incidents for when the license has to be renewed

Carlsbergall one of these days I am going to have to pull out the cooker and clean behind there, as loads of stuff keeps falling down the back of it. I’m absolutely dreading it, it’s going to be disgusting I can tell. The worst thing is that our kitchen is carpeted, I would so much prefer it to be tiled to make cleaning the floor easier.

Wow methekidsandthecat, you worked hard at your parent’s house yesterday. Lovely that your DD is in a helpful mood today. Hope your pain eases up later, what is causing it?

Boddy, so sad to hear about your neighbour

Jinky/Greenbee the crate idea is fab (i might use it on myself) but I have a question: do you tip out the crate into the room so you can use the crate the next day, or do you have lots of crates and just stack them on top of each other in her room?

Daydream really glad to hear about your new job

I washed up yesterday and got over 7, 000 steps which is a new personal best! Am very happy about both things!

Not long back. I have part emptied the caravan and brought the washing up and made a start on it, it's Ben Washing the sequel! It wasn't too bad, the kids behaved pretty well but OH went on a mission and ruined it for me again. Never mind home now just try to keep the thought out of my head that I go away again a week on Monday:rolleyes: Still catching up with the thread I'm way back on page 44.

Afternoon all, been busy this morning but still have loads to do. Managed to get the computer and laptop sorted yesterday,it's been running very slow.

Home treatment team out this morning and there was a lot of tears and talk of the hospital, hubby defo doesn't want to go but if he doesn't try here then thats where he'll end up.
I'm just totally drained with it all at the minute so think i'll not be on next week until things start to settle or hubby goes in to hospital (fingers crossed he sorts himself out and he doesn't have to go because i won't bring the kids down to see him, not in there it would only upset them and hubby).

Happy birthday Jo and Pigpen's DD.
Big hugs to everyone who needs one.

See you all in a week or two.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
