    Hi ladies,

Just checking in to say here are my top diet snacks and thought maybe people can say what theirs are too, that way we can inspire one another!

2 rice cakes spread with marmite (about 80cals)
2 Ryvita spread with Marmite (bout 70 cals)
Cereal bars (especially rice krispie squares) 100 cals
sugar free jelly with plain low fat yogurt with sweetener in (50 cals)

Hope you all have some interesting (FILLING) ones.

    SFG x
  • Weigh day today and I have lost a further 2lbs - which means 8lbs over all, which I am really pleased with so far!

I don't have any "filling" diet foods (I would be interesed to read other ideas too as I struggle to think of things for tea), but these are my treats I allow myself:

Asda Be good to yourself chocolate mousse - 70 cals
Chocolate and Raisin Geobar (cereal bar) - 133 cals
    Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

if im peckish ill have a slice of toast with minimal butter on. the bread is around 100cals alone. and it satisfies me(usually)

because of AF (i just fpund out the meaning for that tonight!! :)) i was naughty on thursday night. been good for meal times though. toast or cereal for breakfast. pitta filled with salad and/or ham for lunch and a healthy dinner.
havent snacked tonight. so proud of myself!
gonna jump on the wii tomorrow as af is starting to leave to see if it really was all her fault or if im just a pig! lol

Here is my recipe for Vegetable Chili con carnito, Its filing, and with a JP and salad very nice:

    Feeds 4 decent portions

    4 Onions
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tin tomatoes
    half tube tomato puree
    2 green peppers
    2 red peppers
2 birds eye chili peppers (the little reedy ones in veg section of supermarket) or 2 tsp dried chili
    1 tin baked beans
    1 tin red kidney beans
    Spray cooking oil
    dash salt and pepper
splash worcester sauce (or I use brown sauce if no worcester sometimes)
1 beef stock cube (or vegetable if you are a vegetarian)

    Method

squirt large lidded saucepan/wok with spray cooking oil (3 squirts should do it)
dice onions/crush and chop garlic; fry both together until browned.
    Add tin tomatoes and puree
add stock cube and worcester sauce
Chop and add peppers incl chili
    add baked beans
Wash and drain kidney beans and add to the concoction
    season with salt and pepper
Bring to boil, then simmer for about 30 mins until nice and thick- add water if necessary at any time..

    Calories per serving-about 300
with jacket spud and salad about 450 total;)

I love this for din dins, it can be quite spicy though:eek:, so put less chili in if you like milder food. Very filling and lovely on a cold night.

    SFG x

PS went out for another meal last night, but fasted all day! So will let you know if I lose this week...
