Hi girls. For all those who've had a bad time recently I can only say, put it behind you and move on. You can't change it and there's no point letting a bad few days/weeks/months stop you from getting to where you want to be. You need to forgive yourself, wipe the slate clean and get going!
I've been back at SW for a few weeks and only maintained last week so am making an extra effort this week. I'm writing everything down and that makes me be careful. I've even had enough sins to have a G&T or glass of wine in the evening. Am currently sipping diet tonic with a slice of lime to try to fool myself there's gin in it!
I'm shopping tomorrow and have decided to do the week from the Slimming World magazine which basically tells you everything you need to eat for all 7 days - all three meals plus snacks. It's always more expensive, but we spend a frightening amount of money on food anyway, so nevermind.
Am keeping my fingers crossed for a good loss - weigh-in is Wednesday. My Wii fit said I'd lost 3lb since my last weigh-in 11 days ago, so am pleased with that. I'm pleased cos I'm seeing 10st 7lb on the scales once again. My next goal is to get closer to 10st, then nearer 9st 8lb - my final wanna-be weight.MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090 -

I lost 2.5lb this week. Total loss 8.5lb. Had a hard day on Friday and went over points, but made up for it with exercise and saving points on other days. 15 days straight of going on the exercise bike!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

OH is a bit of a fitness buff, so we have an expensive one. Its a Life Fitness - C3 Upright Cycle, they are about £1,000. OH is good though, he said he'd use it lots and he has.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Hey ladies can I join please?
I am mummy to DS 10/10/2007 and DD 24/03/2009 and I am actually at my pre pregnancy weight of 11st 10lb dress size 14-bit porky, so I would like to lose 1st at least! So I can look hot on my rare nights out on the town with DH!
I did lose a lot of weight after DS was 5 months old, as he gave me a sickness and diarrhoea bug, and I lost 10lb in 3 days. Apart from that, as the OP says, the cakes and chocolates are calling me...
Thanks girls
