Baby Weight Shifting Club

  • Hi ladies, :hello:

I think it is about time I made a proper effort at shifting this baby weight. Bronwen is now 11 weeks old and I do not want to continue hiding my wobbly tummy under maternity clothes any more!

    During my pregnancy I ballooned to 16st 8lbs and I am currently 15st 4lbs.
My first target is: 13st 13lbs, which I would like to reach by Christmas.
Dh dusted off the wii fit yesterday and bought the new wii sports resort thingie, so we will both be having a go on that later (wii fit said it was over 300 days since our last weigh in :o)

I will be taking a picture of myself and my flabby belly later to stick on my 'fridge to deter me from late night snacking!

Hello ladies, i joined back in June, but haven't actually done anything since! :naughty:

I've been on the Wii this morning and weigh 11st 11lb  and have a bmi of 25.85. And I can't blame baby weight because i've put 5lb on since June!

Ideally i'd like to be 10st 7lb before the end of January.

I'm going to stop eating rubbish, use the Wii more and the car less.

  • Having another hungry day today! Still within points, just feel the urge to munch, munch, munch!

Slow cooker chicken casserole was lovely last night. Making Turkey in Honey and Mustard Sauce in it tomorrow, then Beef Stew on Sunday. Need to buy some sausages and make a casserole with them too. I love my slow cooker! I stick loads of veggies in and it makes massive portions that are low in points.

I usually do mash with casseroles, but fed up of making it. Any other ideas? OH doesn't like rice and I don't like bread (well, I love bread, thats one reason I'm here), so a bit stuck!

  • Just checking in. Nothing to report. Going nowhere fast :( Am back reading Beyond Chocolate which inspires me at the time but the HM biccies then start calling and I am giving in. Am really battling the negative voices at the moment. Feel like I am treading water - why oh why am I so useless at this? Don't I really want to lose weight? I guess not...........

Sadly this hasn't been just one day.
I binged and finished the lot (mind you I didn't have any tea so at least I didn't pig out on extra food on top).
And do you know what - because they weren't there I didn't have the urge to eat anything sweet today  Because I knew they were in the tin and so yummy I was having an awful internal battle about it all week and once they were gone I felt psychologically better.
This is something I definately need to work on.

Off out tonight for something to eat with friends. Am looking forward to it and I am focused on eating it reaaaaaaaaaally slowly and savouring every mouthful.
