not wanting to sound rude but every Tuesday we get more than 1 thread asking for the previous night's Nigella recipes.
You'd think people would've learnt to record the programme by now, knowing they're probably going to want one of the recipes. or at least watch it with a pen and paper handy
also, this series of Nigella (a much as i'm enjoying it) is as far removed from OS as you can get. buying pre-packaged fruit and veg, all ready chopped goes against everything this board stands for (unless it has a yellow sticker)

was thinking the same myself
I record them- so, has anyone tried this ruddy recipe yet and does it work? 0 -
how it turn out LJM ?
if it nice save me a lil bit and i'll invite myself over. lol. i must say it did look very delish last night. hubby has given me a request to make it.
i was quite impressed with all made last night. the rocky road or whatever it was called . is very similar to something i make. i got mine from easy cook month's back and u use digestive's. and milk choc for the top. but the marshmellows in it looked devine.0 -
I always thought that Rocky Road used white chocolate instead of milk/plain, and included cherries. What Nigella made last night I know as chocolate biscuit cake/chocolate fridge cake.
Will have to try the jiggery pokery, sorry I mean hokey pokey
Although I think if I decide to give it as a gift, I will refrain from eating it on the way to the recipient  DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

I only caught the last 10 mins of the show. I thought she was extremely rude to bring a gift and eat it all before she got there!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
I think Nigella looks a bit manic this series but the rocky road did look delicious and I want to make it but will have to take it in to work or will scoff the lot.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

she annoys me with all the disposable tins and trays she uses- she must have a dishwasher!
Sod the environment eh!0 -
I think the disposable stuff is mostly this series - but I agree while using the odd disposable product is ok - reusable is much better. Mind you am not sure about her eating soup every 5 mins - that just seemed odd to me.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

i thought that about the soup. if i was sat next to someone on the bus , and they were pouring out a mug of green gloopy stuff every few min's. i'd be thinking - poor sod , i wonder what diet that is , lol.
she does certainly enjoy every food she makes tho. the chicken she cooked for the picnic looked very nice. a very simple yet nice looking picnic i thought.0 -
If I tried to pour out soup in a taxi - well I know where it'd end up - all down my front!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
