That was good luck that you sister bought the albums! Good thinking! :)

Yeah your right, less to spend and more money, yay!

Sailors outfit hey! Haha have fun wearing it!!!!
Ive got the policewoman outfit from Ann Summers it came up too big for me i had to sew it up the back in the end.
    Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:j
Weekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/175
  • Hehe, the outfit is kinda cool and sexy, so should be fun. All the sailor kinda clothing is in at the mo, everything i see in the shops is very sailor like, with the gold buttons. So its great that the older people can dress up without feeling like they have to buy an actual outfit.

I have been a VERY naughty girl this week, i have been buying lunch everyday costing me £4+ each day, that adds up to a lot of money wasted.

So tonight i popped to Tesco and bought some bits for lunches next week, some Ryvita, 5 packets of snack a jacks, and also a snack size back of buttons :-) that will stop me buying a choccie bar out the vending machine costing 60p a time.
Lunch for the week only cost £4 from Tesco, which is the cost of one days lunch this week.

I'm shatterd, so tonight i am going to chill with a glass of rose, and make myself a nice dinner. OH is at work till late, so going to catch up with some bits online, then chill out and watch a film, eating the BIG bag of cheesy doritos which i also picked up in Tesco.

I'm going shopping tomorrow, need to get some more bits for holiday, so i'm going to get to the shops for 9 and beat the crowds, hopefully. We are busy every weekend from now until the end of November when we go, so need to try and get a lot of my shopping done tomorrow.

I'm surprising my OH and taking him to the footie on the 14th Nov, also going to take him for meal after in London. He's been working very hard lately and deserves a treat. Footie tickets are sooo expensive tho, £80 for two tickets, its daylight robbery. How families afford to take their little kids to see their teams i don't know.

I'm currently watching Sleepless in Seattle on the movie channel, love this film!!!

Off to sort out my budget for the month and do my daily clicks.
    xx

Challenges for 2010: Sealed pot challenge n.o.855 - £365 in 365 days challenge (pay for xmas in 2010) £21 - Make £5 a day in Jan challenge £0.00/£155
  • Its been a bit of an expensive day so far, spent £410  that was on some new glasses and my eye test. I was in desperate need of some new glasses, so went to spesavers and got 2 really nice designer pairs for £210, so i should have those before holiday.

I also got most of my bits for holiday, i don't normally spend £200 on clothes in one day and walk around with loads of bags, so it was good fun, tiring at the end of it though as hit the shops at 9am and didn't get back till 3 :D
Just need to get the last essential bits from Boots next week.

From now until holiday its going to be a very poor month for me. Savings will be being made whereaver possible. Nearly have £10 on Butlins Bingo so will withdraw that soon.

Tonight its going to be a night of the X Factor and chilling with the OH, thats after my sister and I have taken my 2 yr old niece trick or treating :j:j. Not really seen OH much this week as he's been going to bed when i'm leaving in the mornings due to his shifts at the mo, so be really nice to spend some QT with him before his late shift tomorrow.

    xxxx

Other than my expensive day nothing else to report.

  • Monday morning already - and my first Monday morning in two weeks where i don't have to be at work at 7.30 :j i have done nearly 70 hours overtime in October and the first week of Nov. I have a few more early starts this week, but i can handle it once or twice a week.

Saturday was a bit of another expensive day for me, we took my mum to get pampered for her b-day which cost £80, then after that went shopping and took her for dinner. I bought the last of my holiday bits, spent £60 in Boots, but did get £10 back in points, i also spent another £50 on other essential bits i need for holiday. This holiday is costing me a small fortune.

Yesterday my had the in-laws over for dinner and then watched the footie. I'm a united fan and my OH's dad is Chelsea, it was a fun afternoon :D just a shame the horrible Chelsea won.

Just signed up to Bingo Britian after reading something on Wendz's diary about it (thanks Wendz) and i won £20 on my first go. I think i get a free £5 everyday to play through, i hope thats correct?! Does anybody know if you can withdraw your winnings and still get the £5 to play everyday?

X Factor was interesting last night, as soon as i heard the twins were in the bottom two with Lucie i was sure they would be gone, but true x factor stylie they stay in and poor lucie go. I did however enjoy their performance last night and on Saturday, they can't sing, but they are entertainment, and will probably do well after the show, the new Ant and Dec, just 10 times more annoying.

Right, best go start getting ready for work. Thought i'd log on before work as i don't get time in the evenings these days.

Well done on your first win on BB, yes you can withdraw and you still get the free £5 everyday for the 30 days. I think everyone has had a win from them now, what a fab site! :)

I was screaming at the tv about X factor and im not even that big of a fan. I only watch it to see Olly (gotta support fellow Essex person! lol). I thought lucy had a great voice. I too thought ther bound to go out now as simon hates them and the other will choose lucy. Simon just done that so his boys have less competition!!! How lloyd stayed in i dont know!

  • Hey girlies,

I go on the 26th November, and boy am i counting down the days till we get on that plane, cannot wait!!!!! I think i have everything now.

I think i messed up with Bingo Britain, i didn't withdraw yesterday, so having to play thru my winnings in order to play the bonus money, do'h! I am silly. Wonder if i win anything playing with my winnings, probably not.

ANother 4.5 hours overtime today, in total in November i'm going to do 45 hours overtime, thats about an extra £700 in December - YAY!!! The 12 hour days are a bit much, but just thinking of the extra money as thinking of taking my OH to NYC for his birthday in Feb. We have been before several times and both love it there, and after looking at weekends in London, its not much more to go to NYC if you look for offers when you book, like i always do, and also make sure you go via Quidco.

Just about to start dinner before OH starts moaning, then i'll be chilling watching Collision again tonight, watched it last night and it was alright, so want to watch it all week just to see what happens.
