  • I didn't have much luck the other day with the bargain hunting, bought a few bits from Primark and spent £27 but thats about it. Today in my lunch i was on the hunt for a fascinator for a wedding i'm going to on Saturday, I don't particularly want to go as its a colleague at work who's getting married and partners have only been invited to the reception. Anyways, back to the fascinator, i couldn't find one anywhere, so in the end i bought this lovely big black flower hair band, its got glitter on the edges and feathers coming out of it, so its ideal, but the only thing is its got a hairband on it and not a clip. So me being a craft lover has decided to make the fascinator from the flower, so i bought clips and am going to turn it into a fascinator later :j hopefully it will look as good as i think it will, otherwise no fascinator for me. If its does look good than it would've only cost me £2 - bargain!!

I done 3.5 hours overtime today, so come the end of the month i should have nearly 30 hours overtime for Novembers pay :j

I put together a budget today at work, and going by the figures its going to be a very tight month in November before we go away. So much i need to buy for holiday, also need to get my hair done which is going to cost me about £100. I have literally put down everything and once everything is bought i won't have much left to play around with, so i must make sure i only buy things on my list in November. No lunches, magazines, or take-aways.

Something which is also making November an expensive month is my mums birthday. My sister and I have decided to take her to a spa so she can get manicure, pedicure, massage, and we will also be having the treatments so its costing a fair bit

Off to play around with the budget again and work out how much i can spend on holiday clothes, and all the other bits and pieces you need for holidays.

  • The weekend is nearly over already :-( not looking forward to the next 2 weeks, its very early starts and late finishes for me, but means lots of lots of lovely overtime for Novembers pay :j

I had a wedding yesterday which was lovely, but the weather spoilt it a little, the bride and groom didn't get many pics outside the church, nor outside the country manor where the reception was held. Guess thats what you have to expect when you book your wedding for October.

Today has been a manic day, up early to get the cleaning done as couldn't do it yesterday, then went food shopping with OH, which is always a mission because OH is the worst person to go food shopping with. Then had to quickly put the stuff away as was off out at 12 to meet friends for lunch. Not long been back, and watching X Factor :j missed it last night but the recap helped me see who was good and who wasn't. I LOVE Michael Buble (looks and music) so lovin' tonight's show, also Westlife weren't that bad either. Really hoping the ANNOYING twins go tonight.

Only 4 weeks till we fly off on holiday now, so i'm starting to make sure everythings booked, like hair appointment, spraytan, waxing, also making sure i have all the outfits i will need for two weeks.

Not much else happening here, other than the nights getting darker early and just spending the evenings snuggled up on the sofa.

  • I didn't think all of Ireland could vote, only the republic of Ireland, or have or got that wrong!? I bet they will be in the final 3, in it till the end to annoy everyone.

Its been a long day today, 12 hours at work, I'm feeling it now. Dunno how i'm going to be feeling after 10 days of 12 hour shifts. I'm just thinking of the extra money in November for Christmas.

Just looking on ebay at the mo as need a sexy sailor girl outfit for the hen do on holiday, seen a couple that i like and they are only £20 so will buy one of those as they are double the price in Anne Summers.

Doh! Yeah your probably right about Ireland not being able to vote apart from republic of ireland!

12 hour day! Phew, get an early night if you can. But yeah think of all that extra money that will be coming your way! :)

Yeah the extra money will be worth it when you get it.
  • I know, the extra money is making all the hours worth it.

Just bought my sexy sailor outfit for £25, hope it fits as they don't accept returns. Its 10/12 so should be fine hopefully.

Now just looking at suitcases for OH and I - seen some LOVELY ones on the samsonite website, but soooo expensive.

  • Well it was payday today so have just been sorting out my budget and working out money for holiday, and bits i still need which all need to be paid for. Why is everything so expensive?

I really don't know how I'm getting through this week, 12 hour days is really beginning to get to me. But I'm just thinking of the extra money for Christmas. Only 7 more 12 hour days left.

My sailor outfit came today, its really cool, i thought it probably wouldn't fit and i'd have the hassle of sending it back, but fits fine, it also came with a wicked captains hat :o I love dressing up!

Just been naughty and popped back to my dads house so i can copy the Cheryl Cole & Alex Burke album onto my ipod. My sister bought the CD's yesterday, and i was going to buy them this weekend, but as she has them its saved me some money.

Not much else happening with me! Just about to head back home and watch the footie. OH is at work till late again, he may not even come home because he's got a job in so is working right through, how he sleeps on the floor in the office i don't know, he must be mad.

  • The one good thing about these long days is i don't get a chance to hit the shops in my lunch hour, I'm far to busy to think about shopping. Which means i can spend Saturday browsing the shops as OH is working all weekend.

So its saving me money and also making me money! YAY!
