Don't forget www.saynoto0870.com whereas you can use your mobile's free minutes on landline numbers rather than the 0844 charges...

Sky (BSkyB) - 0844 241 4141 -01506 831609 - For new and existing customers of all Sky services
When you dial 01506 831609 you get "This service is no longer avaiable"
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

We have the full Sky TV package on one HD box and multiroom - want to upgrade the second box to HD but I resent being quoted the full price £199 plus £30 installation charge and then an addittional £9.75 a month.
Have been told we are now able to place the order.
Any tips on how to get this reduced?

Ask to cancel if your not in a contract, always works!. Got my HD installed now and I love it, just waiting for the new EPG to download :(
    Kind Regards

Ive just managed to bag sky hd for £29 and free install, coming next week. Cant wait.

Just call and say your fed up of new customers getting a good deal for hd, the person will look and will offer you £29. Well it did me.

    Give it a try!

How long have you been a Sky customer Bill? I've been over 10 years and they couldn't bring my HD box price down at all - I'm usually a good negotiator over the phone too :( Nevertheless, I will call back again tomorrow - Although the lady was very helpful tonight, so I probably won't get anywhere....

Been a customer for 2 years. I find you wont get anywhere with woman on the phone, dont know why this is. Found this with o2 and sky when calling them to ask for anything.

Just ring up and say I want to cancel as im fed up of other people getting sky hd for £29 and free install.

Ive got line rental and weekend calls and 5 mixes.
    Kind Regards
    Bill
  • Hi, got Sky HD ordered as an existing customer as my 12 month contract for Sky+ had recently expired, got free install and free box so no £29. Was also offered not to pay the extra HD premium if I took out Sky Broadband and Sky Talk which I did decline. Basically stated that I was no longer using Sky+ and wanted to cancel it. The guy was very helpful at Sky and got my install booked very quickly.:rotfl:

I did mate and I've been there over 10 years!

She seemed very helpful and not at all put out like some. Hmm, I'll try again tomorrow and if I need to, I will 'cancel' giving a months notice, and see what occurs before that expires.

I have been a Sky customer for less than 2 years. I called up last weekend threatening to cancel. They offer me a free Sky HD+ box and installation providing I took the top package for the month. So I took it save me paying £29 for the box and stuck on low package. But still got to pay the £9.97 per month for HD channels. So its not bad.
