Called 08442 41 41 41 and go through think op 5 to cancel sky and then 1st option. Id call during day as most of the people in sky have gone home.

If you have sky call package, then dialling there 0844 and 0870 is free.

I have got the sky box that records which I am really happy with.What is HD.I am not thick just getting old and not familiar with all the new gadgets.

We got the Sky+HD box and installation for free by doing a similar thing. We do have EVERYTHING with Sky though - phoneline, internet, all the packages, multiroom etc and have been with them for many years. My husband wrote an email to James Murdoch and someone replied on his behalf saying we could have it for free (although obviously have to pay the monthly subscription for hd channels) It's definitely worth asking - if you don't ask you don't get!

I'm another that chokes on the thought of giving Sky another tenner a month.

I already pay £50 odd with extra room.

I think that's plenty for any such service in this day and age.

I'm not doing it.

I won't pay an extra £10 per month for tv programming that is being falsely advertised as HD.
Very little of what they show is actually HD, most, specifically 90% of the movies are just an upscale to slightly improve the quality.

My wife even challenged a sales-person over this and they admitted it's true!!!

I still have an original Sky+ box which doesn't have the "Anytime" option on it. We asked about one which does and were quoted £79!!
Can't use their website to do anytime either as it doesn't recognise our log-in details or our viewing card.....

We only have sky because we have no cable option around us!
