Welcome Lynette - good luck with the weight loss and well done so far :T0

Lost 2lbs this week - hurrah. Puts me just over 1.5 stone lost in total. Still a long way to go but still feel committed. Think i'm 2.5 lbs away from club 10 so that'll be my goal for the next two weeks (i'm away next week and although i'll be self catered i suspect i won't be as strict as usual).
Loopylass - where did your motivation go? Why not have a green day and have so many piles of SW chips that you can't manage to eat anything else?!
Hurrah for the SW-chips-every-day diet!0 -

kick needed over here please! LOL! I have lost the plot and hardly doing things right at all....!! Yesterday I just had a salad sandwhich for lunch (brown bread, no spread) and then I ran home in the evening and had to grab some food before taking the kids swimming and it was late so I grabbed a portion of chips for the kids and OH and ended up munching a chip buttie (brown bread no spread again) as I was running out the door!! Hardly a balanced diet is it!
My scales dont seem to be weighing me correctly as both my mums scales and the doctors surgery weighed me lower than mine! I also seem to forget to weigh myself on a Wednesday! Doh!
OH offered to make me sarnies for today and had sliced egg in brown bread (no spread) so that should be okay to keep me going for today, was thinking of jacket potatoe and salad tonight, maybe with a little bit of cheese in it??
I just dont feel like I am easting properly and really tempted to give in and order a pizza or something..... does anyone have any hints for meal planning/balancing what you eat??Official DFW Nerd 2100 -

Thats a great loss JenIttels!! 1.5 stone!!
p.s. I couldnt agree more with the SW chips every day! Wish they sold them frozen so you didnt have to prepare them tho!! :rolleyes:Official DFW Nerd 2100 -
Rachie - if you're struggling for time and you're ending up with grabbing whatever is conveinient then try making more things conveinient. Make a lot of syn free bolognaise and freeze it. When you want a quick meal you can nuke it and have it with pasta or a jac pot. You can also freeze SW chips just after they've been par boiled so that you shove em in the oven and get other things done whilst they're cooked (although still not the quickest meal ever).
Basically, if you can, try making as much food as you can then freezing it. Or if you make, say, a big salad you can frige that for 2/3 days and just dip into it. It's all alot of effort but you've got to think 'it's going to be worth the effort'.
Obviously that's all just my opinion! I need more freezer space to do it this way as i'm in a shared house but then i don't have kids taking up all my cooking time!0 -
Thanks for that, it sounds like it could be a way forward, yes sometimes I get tired and lazy or just running out of the door so food has to be convienient sometimes! I find it is much easier to shove things in the oven and come back and check when I can than boiling saucepans of water and grilling things when the kids are around as sometimes I come back to disasters!
