Keep smiling-just remember little pickers ware BIGGER knickers... No on the possitive side you are quite right a little at a time. Well done on eating the apple. I drink alot of tap water during the day. Try it! it does help to fill you up.:TMiroslav wrote:I need to lose about 2 stone, but no idea where to start. Just feeling down on myself because of it (I need to change a few more things too, but a bit at a time huh)
Problem is, I also have a stomach problem, so some foods are out anyway (probably all considered to be bad ones) I just can't stick to anything.
I'm off to get an apple nowThey are alright, but........not filling!

Tap water? Can it be harmful? I buy botttled water0 -
Oh dear! it's just a saying any way. Tap water is fine to drink in England, I put bottles in the fridge to keep it cold-just seems nicer! I do buy the bottle stuff for outings ie. to attend workshops and conferances for work. When abroad on holiday WE English must buy the bottle stuff due to the high mineral content in some countries.:rolleyes:Miroslav wrote::eek: I wear Boxer shorts, not knickers

Good Morning everyone
Need a kind word! I got up this morning to find we have no sugar in the house.(need to do the shopping later) any way I am now drinking what tastes like bitter coffee, I usually have 1 teaspoon of sugar per mug.
Soooo I now need to decide weather to get use to it or buy thoose sweetners. I surpose to do without would be the MSE WAY....
Cutting out the little sugar I do have will help with weigh in day!
Moan over. Thanks for listening....:mad:If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

I love sugar too, on my cereal, in my tea and that. I've been using the silver spoon half spoon stuff, I really can't taste the difference (and I'm really fussy). It's less points for me on WW than ordinary sugar, so maybe worth a try?0

Thank you , I buy this sugar all the time. I cannot belive how much sugar oh and son put in there tea. I bought 2 x 2lbs bags with the weeks shopping, oh bought an extra bag and now it has run out again! I think this is partly to do with teenage son and mates putting the kettle on. Still it is better than them drinking beer, etc... I have decided to try and have my coffee without sugar-so will not use it anyway.I love sugar too, on my cereal, in my tea and that. I would love to lose 3 stone, 4 would be great, but I would feel happy with 3.
I have tried and had good results with Slimming World and WW. But my problem every time is finding the commitment, not to stick to the diet, but to find time for the classes.
I am asthmatic and have to go on steroids for it, but know full well, if I lost the weight, the asthma would improve, also I have arthritis in both knees after having too many operations on them, so mobility at times is restricted, but like the asthma, will get better if the weight comes off.
So, I have plenty of good reasons to lose the weight, haven't I !!!, just got to let it happen now.
I have gone back to using WLR an online monitoring service and have chosen to lose the weight by calorie counting as I have found this, combined with exercise is the best way for me to shift the pounds. I am sticking to 1200 cals a day and making sure I do at least an hour of decent exercise a day.
I am also taking Biofirm and feel so much better since I started the 6 week course.
I came back from holiday on June 14th and have lost 9 lbs since then, but must keep going, I will keep popping in here for some motivation, help and advice."Dogs come when they are called. Cats take a message and get back to you" :j :j0
