To cap my good day off. I went to the docs for a smear and the nurse commented that something did not look right. I have to wait 2 MONTHS and if I have heard nothing I have to call them back. Don't they rush things through when they don't look right? Why did she tell me and not keep it to herself as I am a bundle of nerves now and snapping at everyone around me and I have to wait for 2 months. I can't even have chocolate to make up for it.

anyway, I apologise for being a complete whinger, I had to sound off because I just feel like crying. Thanks for listening and sorry again.

    BM x

Hi Blue Monkey - sorry to hear you're feeling so down in the dumps - I've sent you a private message.

Hello all, it's week 2 of my eat less weigh less campaign!
    I am 2 lbs lighter today, :T
It has been a week of ups and downs. Monday I was cross with every one and nothing seemed to be going right...blaming the going cold turkey on my faverote snack....crisps but managed to get through the day.Tuesday, act of kindness - made a friend a a Birthday Cake.On Wednesday I decided to eat dinner the next day on a child size plate. Although I was full I felt I had to finnish the food on my plate (save waste) and all! So will eat smaller portions.
Thursday, normal work day - Then found a pck. Dorito's in cupboard, so ate thoose when no one was looking...Friday, well P... started and as for dinner... COOKED 2 LARGE PIZZA'S FOR EVERY ONE. With work comitments(self-employed) by the time I got to eat some there was none left...
I eat a lot of fresh fruit and drink water after breakfast coffee.
Today I went to the sales, bought a few sun tops and 2 new nighties. Then a rare treat-went for a pub lunch on the way home.I was realy good and choose from the small appetite's menu = Gammon etc... and then did not eat it all. Keek up the good work everyone...
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
    Spring begins on 21st March.

Hi Nearlyrich and Lindsey - welcome to the club.

Nearlyrich - will you be attending a class for your weigh in, or are you doing it yourself? If you're not attending a class, maybe you could make Monday your regular weigh in day, and post the loss or gain on here so that I can include it in the list.

Nutty2 - could you do that as well, as you're a DIYer?

I had my weigh in at Rosemary Conley this morning, and I was surprised to have gained 2lbs. Surprised because according to my scales I had gained a pound on holiday, and then lost it again, so I should have maintained. But, as you may remember, last time I went to RC I lost 7 lbs, which surprised me too, because I thought I'd only lost 5lbs. Anyway for the purposes of the 2lb club I'm going to stick with the 5lb loss! I'll continue doing my own weigh in on Mondays and go by whatever my scales say, but I do enjoy the exercise at RC so I'll carry on doing that as well.

Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine and having a good weekend.

    Hi guys

Over the last few months i have put on some weight and i want to loose it as its making me unhappy about myself.

I work offshore and u can have 3 full meals a day which i normally do tho but i want to change that. While am offshore there is a gym and plan to start to use it so what do you guy recommend doing to get into a routine to loose some weight.

What you recommend food wise aswell. My big problem is i dont like fruit on its own and same with veg :(

Any help would be great. I was planning on using the tread mill and bike in the gym.
