    Good evening all

Delly Belly - sorry we must have crossed posted last night - well done on maintaining especially when you had been in Dublin - that is so cool.:T

Lois Lane - hope you had a nice holiday. Good luck for your weigh in on Saturday and for your next target.

Katyk - Never mind re your gain - just a blip we all have them  .Look forward to hearing from you again once you have your new PC and yes I am sure you will have lots to catch up on lol.

Ems - Good luck for your weigh in tomorrow. I do a mix of red and green days throughout the week but as I am not a big meat eater I do struggle with the red days as I always feel hungrier on those days. But I find snacking on fruit and Mullerlights help.

Cons31 - wow new scales that does sound scary. Mind you it may cut down on your paperwork so may be good in some respects. Probably have some interesting weigh ins for the first week  Head Office will probably be inundated with consultants phoning up to complain re the number of gains or ecstatic about the losses for that week

As for me I lost 2.5 pounds this week yeah. I am so glad as I would have been disappointed with less than 2. I now have 7 weeks to my holiday and am aiming for another stone by then. Then I will be in a mad panic to buy some clothes :rotfl: but rather that than buying more in my current size.

Hope you all have a good day tomorrow

    Hi all

Here's the update for this week, with as many results as I can find. As usual, if there's anything you want to change, let me know by email, pm or on here.

It's not often I celebrate gaining a pound, but I was really pleased to have only put on one pound while I was on holiday - that's definitely a first for me, the scales usually groan when I step on them after a week away! :)

Thanks for the welcome back. I had a lovely time - the weather left a lot to be desired but the Irish scenery made up for that. I can recommend South West Ireland to anyone who loves mountains, lakes, beaches, good food, and great hospitality. The Guinness is good too!

We went there for the International HOG Rally - HOG stands for Harley Owners Group, nothing to do with pigs! My OH is the proud owner of a Harley Davidson, and he rode it all the way there, but I took the easy route and flew in (there's not much storage on his bike so someone had to carry the luggage!). I'm sure the residents of Killarney are glad of the peace and quiet now all the bikes are gone - apparently there were 10,000 Harleys there, and boy, do they make a noise!

Katyk - sorry to hear you'll be without a PC for a while, but hopefully we'll see you on here again very soon.

Welcome to all the new faces - if any of you would like to join in the 2 pound weight loss club, just let me know. The idea of it is to set a short term target that can be reached by losing 2 pounds each week, as it's sometimes easier to break your goal down into 'bite size chunks' rather than being demotivated by the total amount you want to lose. I find a good target is a special occasion, or a holiday - the usual things that we know we'll feel better about if we're carrying a few less pounds.

    Have a good week!

    LL

Hi Honey - it's a bit misleading, but the minuses are actually gains, rather than losses. I must work out a way to get Excel to do the opposite of what it's supposed to do....

Well done Moira! 2.5 is excellent!!

I've managed to remember my kit to go to RC class tonight so will hopefully have a loss after last week's little hiccup (which i'm still blaming on not wearing the right clothes :o)

I've got my WW weigh in at 10.30am today. I have weighed myself here and my scales show a loss, but they aren't the best scales in the world so I should find out later exactly what I have done.

I'm really pleased by how positive i feel with it all at the minute. I went to see take that on Saturday and i was dancing, jumping etc, so lots of exercise there. This Friday i am going to see chili peppers so hopefully lots more jumping around and burning calories there.

Fingers crossed for a weight loss this week!!

Feeling tired from two days in the Gym but yesterday prior to going to the second session I went to Boots and weighted myself. I lost 3lb in 10 days since seeing the dietician :j

That leaves me 11lb to try and lose in the four weeks till I go to Dubai

Current total loss is 3stone 4lb

  • Hi Guys,

Well done to all the losers!

And chin up to the others.

I've managed 1.5 this week so a total of 3.5 lbs. I'm off to buy some swim suits today...big size and hopefully will be small size in the months to come.

I've given in and joined a gym this week.

My plan is gym and swimming and some classes but don't want to end up obsessed.

Hope you all have a fab week.

    Cheers
