Cheekymole - can you explain the principe to mix2 match - can you just swap at each meal? What about success express - do you know how that works?

    Mix2match

At each mealtime, choose whether you’d prefer an Original meal or a Green meal.

Focus on Free Food power – at each meal enjoy as much Free Food as you like (either Green or Original) from the choice you’ve made for that meal.

Add three or four Healthy Extras each day, as usual. You can select from the Green and Original choices!

For snacks, starters or desserts, choose Superfree Foods (or count the Syns).

Finally, enjoy 5-15 Syns each day

    and success express

With Success Express you can enjoy Green and Original items in the same meal, without weighing or counting, and experience a magnificent boost to your weight loss!

Every day enjoy three Success Express meals. Success Express meals follow the Two to One plate principle. Fill two thirds of your plate with Superfree foods (listed in your purple Food Optimising 2005 book). Fill the remaining third with foods that are Free on Green or Original, or you can have both together…

Every day enjoy three or four Healthy Extras as usual, from either the Green or Original lists. You can add these to meals or have them as snacks!

Enjoy the regular 5-15 Syns a day, as part of a meal or as snacks. Where Syn values are different on Green and Original, count the highest value.

Snacks, starters and desserts that aren’t Superfree or Healthy Extras are counted as Syns. e.g. smoked salmon as a starter would be counted as Syns because it isn’t Superfree. A starter such as melon is Superfree.

    Thanks Cheekymole.
Has anyone tried any of these plans? Have you found the weight loss to be better/worse on this as oppose to regular Green/Red days?

I know the feeling Cots! A new day as you say, start afresh and put yesterday down as a flexible syns day :rotfl: Thats what I did. I was ok after my little binge tho, had a good "free" dinner and not a thing all evening.

I'm a veggie and tried success express principles for a week. Just stick to lots of 'superfree' foods and less carbs etc. Lost 4.5lbs when did it so am loosely trying it again this week no idea if it would be that effective if i also ate meat though. Mostly going for it because i gained weight last week (though i'm not really sure why) and also because of a slight cheese binge after the disappointing class on wednesday. :(

Come on guys. Stop with the choclating...everytime you look at a chocolate bar imagine your slim new self and ask yourself which you'd rather aim for - a cheap, but delicious 5 minute choclite buzz or, a flat stomached, slinky little you! It's the only thing that is keeping me from succuming to the easter egg displays in shops at the moment!

    Hi,

Has anybody got any favourite dips that would come under free foods? I'm a nibbler so healty dips with veg-might stop me eating more.

Also does anybody know the syn value of dried figs-my alternative to chocolate.

    Thanks in advance
