How much do you hope to lose?

Well, I really should lose a couple of stones. The problem is, I get stuck frequently with my weight and lose veeeeeeery slowly. I try not to give it too much importance and focus on measures instead of weight. Then I do see the difference, and that's an incentive! Anyway, if I managed to lose all that weight in, say, five years, it would still be much better than not lose it at all, ever!:rolleyes2

You can find sugar-free jelly sachets at Tesco's.

If you're doing the SW diet then there's a good recipe to make a lowish syn pizza in the latest SW magazine.

Mostly it's just a matter of making dough (I used a packet) and then topping it with free tomatoes, veggies and healthy extra portions of cheeses!

I make myself share it with the boyf so i dont' eat the whole thing but it's yummy. I put fresh pineapple and mushrooms on my half. I may need to make it again this weekend - i'm drooling thinking about it.

    Hi there
Unfortunately we are unable to post the SW online password anymore as it is copyright to SW and we would risk the forum being shut down. If you are looking for a syn value of something post it on here and I'm sure someone will help you.

Wow Jenittels - what fantastic news! That should be a huge incentive for you.

Ladela - you may be having a temporary reaction to muller light, or it could be a coincidence that the rash subsided for a day. Why don't you try avoiding them altogether for a couple of weeks, then give them another try. If the rash disappears altogether and then reappears when you reintroduce them you'll know you are allergic to them.

For those of us who are not allergic to mullerlight (sorry Ladela) you can also make a lovely pud by whisking sugar free jelly with yogurt, then pour it into dessert dishes and leave in the fridge until set. You can try combining similar flavours, such as strawberry jelly and strawberry yogurt, or mix and match - I used to do orange jelly and chocolate mullerlight, when you could still get it. Vanilla is good with strawberry too.

I use Hartleys jelly, and I believe it is 1 syn per sachet on SW.

I lost a further 1lbs this week, so I'm now 12st 3lbs, losing a total of 17lbs in 5 weeks. Although it still seems I can't get rid of my belly. :( I should be patient, but it does get me down a little bit. :(
  • Hello again everyone...

Good news is I lost 3lb last week after four weeks of staying the same. Also been to the docs to be tested for diabetes and the first test was clear - waiting for the blood test results now, but there should be no problem.

However I am having a really stressful time with the OH at the moment _pale_ ...it's affecting my moods and sleep quite dramatically, and I got upset this morning, but am so far managing to stick to the SW plan.

    Fingers crossed, eh? :o

oh i'm down heartened today. i thought i was good all week. i went back to work after 5 weeks off (injured!) and barely had time for lunch any day, breakfast was a yoghurt and cereal bar and dinner was - toast 2 nights (heat makes it hard to eat anything proper), grilled chicken breast in tortilla 2 nights. Although I didn't do any formal exercise (didn't have time or energy this week) I did walk a lot more than normal.

I was at a wedding yesterday but didn't have any alcohol, the meal was fruit for starter, then vegetable soup, then stuffed chicken breast (of which I ate half), veg and potatoes.

and so I've put on a pound - am cross as its only my second week!. i shall have to exercise like a crazy thing this week, as I think that will be the key to my success. boo hoo.
