Welcome Madauri - Good for you getting yourself focussed again. I'm also following SW but my weight loss has pretty much ground to a halt at the minute so I need to ry harder. How much do you hope to lose?

Hi Ragdoll - I had a look on the SW website but couldn't find it. A dairy milk caramel is 12 syns  so it might be something like that. Do you have access to SW online - you can enter the calories etc and work out the syns.

Just had a frozen lemon cheesecake muller light - how lovely was that? It was FAB!!!! It was like a sorbet - I only left it in for a short while and all for only 1/2 syn!!

EDIT - FOUND IT!! Diary milk with creme egg is 10 1/2 syns - best leave it in fridge then :rotfl:

    Hi all

I went to my first Rosemary Conley class tonight - I quite enjoyed the exercise bit, although my knees are creaking now! I was just going to go for the exercise and a regular 'official' weigh in, but now I'm considering following the kick start plan, until I go on holiday on the 19th.

It seems very restrictive - 1200 calories a day, no treats, no alcohol - so I'm not sure if I'll cope with it, as I get light headed if I haven't had enough to eat. I may have to increase on the number of calories a little, particularly if I've exercised.

This recent spate of hot weather has made me so determined to lose weight, because I've got nothing to wear :(

I know we ladies say that all the time, but I'm a stone heavier than I was this time last year, and although I 've got loads of summer clothes, they are all too tight. I could do what I've always done - go out and buy some larger clothes - but I know that's not the answer.

When I lost weight before I went down 5 dress sizes and had the wonderful experience of having to buy a whole new wardrobe as none of my clothes fitted me anymore. I cleared out all the larger sized clothes and gave them to charity shops and I was absolutely determined that I was never going to need them again. Now I find myself reminiscing about certain items that would fit me and regret giving them away.

I know what I need to do - I need an incentive to focus on, and I need to visualise myself in the clothes that are in my wardrobe now, not the ones I've given away. So that's what I'm going to do. Wish me luck.

    Hi,

I've bee doing slimming world for the last month and have really enjoyed it - haven't felt like I was dieting at all.

The thing is, I've been buying Mullerlights by the truck load (LOVE THEM) but I think I am allergic to them :(

I've been covered in red itchy blotches for the last few weeks and a few days ago I didn't have a yogurt and the blotches didn't flare up at all that day. If I have a yogurt within the hour I'm itching.

I really am gutted because I really enjoyed having them on an evening - its stopped me reaching for the choc bars!

So, does anybody have any low syn alternatives? Just something you can grab from the fridge to satisfy a sweet tooth?

Thanks for your help (love this board btw, lots of great tips!)

Well done on your first class! We did some evil toning exercises in my class on wednesday and i thought my arms were going to drop off!

People have had brilliant sucesses on the kick start diet in my class but i never did it myself. Try and spend the calories on the most filling meals you can and/or maybe eat little but often. You shouldn't start to feel lightheaded - if you do, ring the class leader and ask her advise what to do. She may have some good suggestions.

Good luck if you decide to do kick start. I read it with horror - I just don't have that kind of will power (which is embarressing to admit). Everyone reckons it's worth it though!

I think i ate too much last night. Boyfriend made risotto and served it with white bread (i had a slice and a half but it was quite thick). I then 'accidentally' ate a small piece of his leftover birthday cake for dessert :o

    Must try harder...

Btw, we've had some wonderful news about a job he (boyf) applied for and it's looking like we might get to move to Las Vegas for 2 years!!! :D:D:D We won't go until next summer so I have a year to try and get rid of this weight - don't want to carry it round in the heat over there!

lois lane - you sound like youve got your head pretty much round it and know what to do to get back in your summer clothes. I had one of these moments a few weeks ago and pleased to say i have lost 8lb since then. Keep up with it and you'll be in your clothes in no time

Ladela - there are some other yoghurts you can have if you think its just the muller lights and not yoghurts, they are irish yoghurts, ive not had them myself but i think they are syn free, some one might be able to let you know for sure, i think you get them from Tesco, hope that helps

How about making up small pots of sugar-free jellies. They set quite quickly and you could fill 3 or 4 empty yoghurt pots with one sachet. Slice up some fruit, put it in the bottom of the pot and fill up with jelly. If you find you're ok with fromage frais, you could put a blob on top before serving.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I was just going to suggest the jelly - must try that myself:T ...a healty extra HI-FI bar (one with clocolate in) from the freezer works for one of my friends.

Got taken out for Italian last night - avoided the pizza and dessert though so think i deserve a sianthood:p :rotfl: .

How many of us are going to have difficulty with the World cup pub thing?

    Bye for now,
