  • Hi.
There's no real cheap way to do the job you want done, It will cost around £400 return to get a large van on the boat and after adding fuel and time to the total its starting to get quite a large amount.
I go over now and again with work, If i was going with a empty van to get stock across the water this would be the cheapest way for you to get your job done as i could bring your stuff with me, drop it of and go and do my own business.
I dont know when i will have to make my next crossing at the moment but send me a PM when your ready..
  • Thanks for all the recommendations  . I'm still pricing around - there seems to be a huge variation in prices and room to haggle with some companies tho not sure that is any way reassuring:cool: .

  • My wife (then girlfriend) used the Dixon Line when coming back from Uni in London. Admittedly she didn't have a massive amount of stuff, but maybe worth checking them out.
They were helpful and did a good enough job!

    Hey everyone,

I took a search on here but couldn't find an existing thread on removal companies. I am looking to move house in Belfast and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good service?

    Thanks!

I have two massive conifers at the back of my house in Belfast (tall as a 2 storey house) and would like to have them taken down.
Any recommendations about who could do it? Thanks.

  • If you want them out root and all, call this guy. He cleared my garden conifer trees etc with his mini digger.

My husband took these down on his own, with a bow saw! We tied a rope round the bigger branches and trunk - he cut and me and my sons pulled. We hired a van for 2 days to get rid of everything. He's taken down 12 in the past year.

The only casualty was my twirly!

Proof that it was him on his own (with said saw!) And to show you the size of the trees.
