    I#'m confused by this one.

Why are books, DVDs and accessories now free P+P? I was selling a designer wallet which needed to go by recorded or Special Delivery - that was a wee chunk out of my sales, and I'm sure the buyer would have been happy to pay the cost if it were on the listing.

I can't imagine that any buyer would when you are selling your item in a free P&P category!

If you needed to cover the cost of special delivery for the wallet you should have added this to the listing price

So he's either a) bought a belt, cut it down to a more popular size (he mentions in his sale he's had it 'professionally cut down to fit') and is reselling hoping to make a profit (dya reckon he will, guys? ) or b) has gone from a size 30 (size he's selling) to a 46 (size he bought) and needs a new belt :D

Why doesn't the seller just put in a reserve price or have the starting price as the lowest price they are willing to accept. I would never purchase from someone with this sort of attitude. Doesn't exactly endear you to them does it? lol

I did - no need to be arsey. It just seems very strange to me when obviously some accessories are of high value and will need the relevant packaging and postal services.

It is in the listing its included in the price. You dont actually think postage is Free do you? Think of it as INCLUSIVE. It makes no difference where the money is listed. I list a lot of stuff in non FREE P&P categories with Free P&P it puts you higher in the searches. My sales have increased

This is enough to put anyone off bidding.... In fact, is it even allowed to pull listings just because you aren't getting the amount you want??? Says the same on the sellers other listings as well

I know these things are all open to interpretation but she sounds like a right moody so-and-so!! Perhaps she should have counted to ten before she started typing!

Listing no longer available... I wonder if it was the seller who pulled it or ebay?

Is it wrong to hope it was ebay??? :D

I found this which I found quite funny
I will include FREE Royal Mail `Signed For` tracking service and insurance on all items purchased that are paid for by cash, cheque or postal order (excluding Paypal).

Considering Paypal is where you need the signature, putting that in your listing is just silly

Obviously most things have already been well covered.

    My main gripes are:

    1) Excessive p&p
    2) Inadequate description
    3) Pages of T's&C's
    4) Photographs that do not enlarge or only enlarge to something still too small to get a good idea of the item
    5) Stock photographs for used items
    6) Terms that contravene Ebay's rules
    7) The scrolling 'auctiva' listings
