As a buyer what puts you off a listing?

Had to laugh at 'nintendo man', I can see his point. I put a watch up on feebay, it was a genuine calvin klien (my local jeweller had confirmed it), This was mentioned in the listing. feebay pulled it with the response that 'It infringes Copyright, and we have been asked by the copyright holders to remove it'. I relisted and they let it run to the end.
BTW, feebay want to use pre-filled info in listings as it saves a lot of typing, Ebid do the same.
I do agree that dark backgrounds look reall naff, but if you find the right template and it works, stick with it. Personally I use LF09 as it allows me to create complex multi-picture listings which cost nothing to list on feebay (and even allow me to add a 'click HER' link to my ebid shops.Never Knowingly Understood.

I have been named on the 'nintendo man' auction for my £20 offer, so I sent him another at £40 saying:
"Go on then, I will be sensible, £4 each? You really think they are worth £800? Good luck with that. PS. As a tip why don't you set the auction to automatically decline offers below whatever amount you see fit. Then you won't see this."
I love the fact I am the one who missed the education system yet I have managed to sell more than him on ebay and know how to implement the feature mentioned above when I use the best offer feature.
Wonder if he realises that slating other ebay members doesn't make him look good.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

I like where he says "a couple who never entered into the education system"... but can't spell possibly, and seems to use text speak like it's going out of fashion... Maybe I'll give the PowerSeller hotline a ring and see what they say about his listing (especially publishing mine and Percy's usernames)I have been named on the 'nintendo man' auction for my £20 offer, so I sent him another at £40 saying:

Found this from a PowersellerWe will only refund you once we have received settlement of our claim to Royal Mail. This is non-negotiable. We do obtain proof of postage on all our items.
Due to that and a couple of other things in the listing they have lost a £40 sale0 -
Just found something else that I find annoying. (Never thought I was this picky :rotfl:)
When people pose items with teddy bears.
What's all that about?
I'm not a child, it's not going to influence my purchase descision.
Like this powerseller who has not one but two little mascots. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ps2-LARA-COFT-TOMB-RAIDER-ANGEL-OF-DARKNESS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em14Q2el1262QQhashZitem2555bf3371QQitemZ160352383857QQptZUKQ5fPCQ5fVideoQ5fGamesQ5fVideoQ5fGamesQ5fJSQQsalenotsupportedThis is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. It really annoys me when people wont give postage discounts for more than one item. If I'm buying half a dozen books from someone then I'm likely to go slightly higher on the bid price for the convenience, but if it costs them half as much to send them all in one go I don't see why I shouldn't have a little bit knocked off.
Oh, and immediate payment when I'm buying a 99p book annoys me too.
Other than that I think all my pet hates have already been covered.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Over exaggerated postage costs...What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
