    oooooohhhhh Bookaddict -
Thats PRETTY :T..I love the colours in that -but you are VERY brave.... as it doesn't tell you how big it is does it ....It could be a bit  when you get it :rotfl:
I couldn't get my hubby to hide one for me as I would pester him to within an inch of his life to get it back :p
The one Im doing at the moment is lots of 1 of this and 1 of that too -but the trade off is that the colours provide the detail -NO backstitch etc :j

Right -back to my sewing :D

    Congratulations sammr85

All the UFOs are looking great! I'm afraid I let the side down too this week, with resting my poorly knee all last weekend I got lots of my polar bear done, but this week I've had to play catch up with the washing and ironing (still hopping on one leg :rotfl:). I really want to finish it because I neeeed one of those heaven and earth charts! Still struggling to decide which one, as beautiful as Garnet is I think its too big for my next project, but I'm still looking.
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

    Hi everyone,

I loved catching up on the posts, seeing latest updates in the photos. I like those hearts.

Been working on my sampler on the finishing stages although discovered that I'd run out of the green I needed so using 2 different greens, one strand of each, it's unnoticable.

    Sammr85- :T Congratulations!

Thanks for the link. I had a quick look and wondered how the charts come? Are they like the charts you get with kits as in one sheet or are they like the HAED and come in lots of sheets?

I would like to get some charts as the site you link to is cheap but I am put off by having lots of sheets :o

The big ones come as lots of sheets but are spiral bound so you don't get in a muddle. They are just too big to fit on one sheet of paper.

The smaller ones ( sister site www.needlepricks.com be careful if easily shocked some of these are rather "naughty" ) are on one page and some can be emailed.

And no I don't work for White Willow Stitching!

I've just found this thread, not read it all - am at work so will do that later this evening. But couldn't leave without posting about my UFO. It is a blanket with printed cross stitch of bunnies on rocking horses, bought by my MIL on a trip to USA when I was pregnant with DS1. I started it but only got about a 3rd of it done, DS1 is now 16  and MIL unfortunately passed away on 21st June this year. I have just re-found it and am continuing with it and will get my mum to back it with some pretty baby appropriate material when it's completed and then I shall try and sell it on Folksy I think. Part of me says keep it for the grandkids, but I do need th emoney and haven't really got the space to store it. Will add a pic later

Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

Oh my goodness Amanita! I don't know what I was expecting when I clicked on needlepricks, but it wasn't that! I'm still giggling now, the sassy sayings are hilarious. I was particularly amused by the New Day chart, but I don't think I could hang that on the wall when I'd finished sewing it :rotfl:

Cross stitch for the twisted mind, brilliant!!!

I've done a couple - the "Aren't you a ray of ****** sunshine" which I framed but I haven't had the nerve to hang it publically. I also did the two Christmas ornaments. when they are stitched and made up you have to look very very closely to notice that they are subversive! No one has yet.......;)

Hi all! Sorry I've not been posting much in the past few days. I've not been feeling well. I've been reading the messages, but too tired/poorly to reply. Pics are looking great & I'll be back to 'normal' (???) soon.

    Sammr85-Congratulations! :)
