Can we have a fanfare please _party_-thats as close as I could get :rotfl:......

I have just finished stitching the angel kit I started over 15 years ago and it has been washed and is now rolled up to dry -so hopefully tomorrow I can add the bit of back stitch and the beads and then I can cross one of my UFOs off the list ......then on to my next one :j

Please may I join :) I have this one to get done for the 22nd July  I've only done one, very simple one before and this has a lot of backstitch in it  (Not allowed to post a link to it, but it's called Solo the Cat - "yum yum"). I'm doing it for my boyfriend's 20th birthday and going to mount it onto a cream cushion for him so he can have it on his bed. Keeping my fingers crossed I'll get it done in time!!

Thank you *Louise*, I really must finish her! Theres not that much left really, a bit of her skirt, then a little girl in a white dress (Think all the white stitching is whats putting me off! that & the rust!) and a bird table/stand type thing..
Mrsmacawber, I seem to remember a lovely Celtic lady in a red & gold dress...might have to find that one once my others are finished!

    Well done - you're a gal on a mission!
I still havent started my UFO - I was finishing my Mums birthday present. I've just to frame it now.
Cant decided what to start next - have sorted the threads for a Margaret Sherry kit for my grand daughter but some how its not rocking my boat IFYSWIM!
I've decided to ditch the guilt re the kits in my stash and Im going to put them on ebay! Then if I make any money I'll buy stuff I really want!:D

Resolution : I MUST stop buying any old kit willy-nilly just cos they're cheap!;)

    Morning all

Well its dried and pressed (for the 1st time) .....
I just had to fill a few gaps and then all the white in the wing had only half a stitch done :o-so that was fun ...loads of white stitching -anyway now I just need to add some back stitch and a few beads and then its done :D -just need to figure out what to do with it
    angel29june.th.jpg
Jinty.... its horrible when you know that you aren't going to enjoy stitching something isn't it -especially when its something to give away..
Just think -the quicker you get that one done, the quicker you can get onto something lovely for yourself :T -thats all thats spurring me on to get my UFOs done...although I will probably still see a couple more birthdays befroe I get to start a new one :o
Right -off to get that done ;)
    happy stitching everyone :D
