Bit late to the discussion here: -

Maz - obviously I don't know the full circumstances but when you've made some other changes in your life (in your case the magnificant weightloss :T) it sometimes make you step back & take stock of other areas in your life.

As some of the others have already commented, if you're living almost separate lives, something needs to change.

I've been there, you discuss it, he says he'll change, he doesn't, you repeat the cycle a few times, you get the picture, for me in the end, it was more like living with my brother than a lover.

I'm sure you'll do what's right for you - we're all here if you need us

That's it, I'll stop rambling now ...........

£240 utillity bill each month. This is the second quarter, the bill is the same for 3 quaters but on the fourth (winter) it rises 50%. So in effect thats, £240, £240, £240 and £360. Therfore yearly this is £1080, putting this in a soa though that will make it £90 a month? Is that right?

    Thanks

    Thanks guys....

you know i don't usually go for this whole living every detail of my life out in the daily chat cause it feels disrespectful to him, (well apart from telling you about his farmer giles, lol!!)

but somehow if i've put it down on here, i feel more likely to take the bull by the horns and deal with this...

i don't want promises from him, i want a new start... so i need to talk to him about this but be firm that it's not promises i want this time.

If i don't quite pluck up the courage to stand firm on this one, then please don't judge me for it...

Funny though, whenever i discuss doing something on here, i generally end up doing it... whether it be learning to swim, losing weight or whatever!

You know where we are hun if you need us x

It's like thinking out loud, clearing your head of all the thoughts that are floating around.

All the peeps on here are a good sounding board & whether you agree with the advice or not, it's gives you lots opinions from a number of different perspectives :T

Thanks Luc :j I knew it was but had to double check, the 25% CT discount is giving me jip now. If someone paying £1200 for a year full household. If they get 25% off for living alone that gives a yearly bill of £900 so £75 monthly however if you add 25% to £900 you get £1125 :o So thats not right is it? Or is it because 25% of £900 is less than 25% of £1200 :o Grrr I hate maths so much  :rotfl:
