Yes,several people have suggested similar things Bookie, I think she finds the idea good in itself, but feels starting one would be sort of admitting defeat that she's not going to fight it off and get well again. And (bad grammar,I know) she's not ready to throw in the towel just yet...Debt-free...and staying that way...0

SRM, your friend is facing tough times and has been given a death sentence, she has every right to be angry.
My lot find it difficult to see beyond the end of their noses and are not happy with what they've got.
I think I mustn't have been as sympathetic to my moaning friend last time, she hasn't phoned me for a week or so.
Bunny, this is why I've not been posting, I'm feeling very sorry for myself and know that I'm a miserable self centred cow.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Me again....SRM, would it help your friend if you were to hold on the boxes for a while, rather than she keep them at home and risk her husband or family finding them?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0

Twitty-I think she needs to straighten her head out first, before she can start on that particular project!Of course I would hang onto them-shes just not ready to accept it yet..Debt-free...and staying that way...0 -
SRM there was a program on the TV a while ago that covered parents that were dying and the type of thing that the charity helped parents/family with. It was a fantastic programme and a celebration of life and preparing all the family. It certainly encouraged them all to stay positive as they had so many things they wanted to achieve together. I'll see if I can find the info on itI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
Finally Debt Free...0
