spoke to Big G's mum on the phone, was telling her how i was feeling in general about Big G. As discussed with Sammy and Sal at the weekend. So he'll no doubt hear about that before the morning is out, but that was kinda the plan anyway.

I'm not settling for a marriage of convenience (that isn't even a marriage!!) anymore, have decided would rather struggle to balance life/erin/school/work etc on my own than stay with him because he's good childcare.

I pretty much had the same conversation with one of my best friends this morning maz...Am fed up and need to do something about it!

Do you think Big G will want out? Or change?

I have to say - NEVER SETTLE!!!

If its not working then see if there's something you can do to fix it and if not walk away - everyone thought I was mad when I left ex OH because of a feeling and right now I've met the most amazing man who wants exactly the same things out of life I do and I dont have to comprimise anymore...(but learning how to spell might be good )

Its painful but it gets better...

Not if kids are involved - its not quite that easy. Having done it years ago it was both the best and worst thing i ever did...

Maz, the right decision is often hard and painful. Talk to him about it, give it a chance but know when to draw the line. I may have this wrong but you do seem to lead separate lives now anyway...

But surely if you are unhappy then they are going to know that as well...but I dont have any so I dont know about such things :o:D

Relationships are a total compromise - I just compromise more than my OH!

My first OH left me with fractured ribs while I was pregnant so it kind of made the decision easier, but up until then I had decided that I had made my bed so I would lie in it...(however never having had a father I wasn't sure what a normal relationship was).

My 'current' OH drives me crazy but we still love each other, but we are so different we have to compromise. Also we have both changed a lot over the last 17 years and its whether you grow together or grow apart that makes the big difference..

Maybe this will be the kick up the backside he needs Maz, but, if not then you have to do what will make you and erin happy. Life is way too short to settle for convenient and comfortable. It's scary how quickly life passes and you need to make the best of it.
