My daughter did this morning and I pretended to do the daily morning quiz which gives out clues to a certain object, one clue a day and the answer on friday. really wound them up when i wouldnt tell them the answer haha

What sort of stereo/car did you have? I have two old stereos here from old cars - a Ford Stereo and a Renault Phillips stereo. Neither have CDs, they are both tape & radio but I could send you one at the weekend if it helps? They are doing nothing except taking up space and worked fine when we took them out for better ones.

If you needed radio codes for them I think you can post on one of the other boards here? I don't think I have the manuals (may have for the ford one in a box somewhere).

Thats really kind of you Katsu. The guy I bought the stereo from is trying to see if he can get me a faceplate for it. I rang him tonight but he has had no luck yet but will ring me tomorrow. I have a ford escort (see told you a banger lol) My daughter does love her cds in the car though
If I dont get anywhere with it I may send you a pm thank you very much for the offer.

Hopefully my PPI claim will be coming through soon as I have accepted an offer and I will be finally getting a new car :j what a xmas present that will be

Pammy, rotten luck about your stereo. My car got broken into once and although the faceplate wasn't there they damaged the stereo so I couldn't attach the faceplate anyway!

Hope the PPI claim comes through soon and you can treat yourself.

Had a £5 win on free scratchies so another £10 withdrew.
Have seen a stereo like mine on ebay for only £35 so might bid on that as I have £54 in paypal.

As there are only 77 days til xmas I think I need to get going on buying more gifts. I have usually bought at least 80% by now.

Well to add to the vast extras I have to pay out this month I have just paid for DDs judo license £26. She earned Player of the month today and got a trophy which will have her name etched on it with the others. She is doing really well and is quite enthusiastic about it.

Also car tax letter came today. £112 for 6 months (as I am hoping to get a new car)
DDs birthday party at home (approx about £40-£50)
DDs presents
car stereo replacement

arrghhhhhh!

On a positive side I am checking VO daily along with my scratchies and doing more surveys there. I am now at about £12 having done 2 £1 ones this evening. just waiting for £3 to clear adn have redeemed a £5 amazon at BP, so slowly building that back up as it was at zero
