the scratchies are free scratchies on the bingo sites.

    withdrew £10 today :)

    had a lightspeed survey done

have been back on BP tonight after a good few weeks off there.

need to get back on dooyoo at some point as well but the usual 'not in the right mood' has reared its ugly head.
I think I am just at meltdown at the moment and am finding it hard to get back where I was. :(

We need to come up with a way to get the mojo back for you. It must be really hard mediating between kids and their dads. It does sound like he is being a bit crap, but also, kids soon learn how to manipulate and try to get round you. She is probably feeling really pushed out. I don't know why things can't be simpler.

I was thinking about ways to get in with other parents. Start with chatting about the kids. I always used to do that at baby groups. Comments about having seen their kids with your kids maybe. Or ask about what hobbies their kids do as you are looking for some for your own kids. Owt really. Once you start chatting it would have to be a pretty rude person who then didn't chat back even if only being polite. At least you would then kind of know some more people. The PTA also sounds a good idea. I plan on doing it when my DS1 starts nursery. I've tried talking to other parents who live on our street and invite them round, but it hasn't really worked so school is my next chance.

    Thanks Michelle,
One of the mums who my daughter plays with asked for my number as she is having a party and suggested about the kids getting together during the hols. The only problem is the girls arent in the same class next year grrrr. she also doesnt have the same time off work that I do so things would be difficult.
Now its hols we wont really see anyone now til september.

Last day of running around on the school run tomorrow, DS2 leaves to join DD tomorrow yay!!!!

Did 2 reviews on dooyoo tonight but only 600 points  its hardly worth the time really 60p for about 60 minutes work, how fair is that? Think I will get my next cheque and then skip it, not worth the time. same as the daily clicks I used to do.

tried with the surveys today and ruled out of all of them. 30p from onepoll though. won a few games on bp tonight.

have re-rated a few people on dooyoo throughout the evening but its so time consuming.

Last day of DS2 going to their old school. Wasnt that emotional for me as there isnt anything I would miss. DS didnt seem that bothered either and he wasnt the only one leaving today, another 4 kids were too. One had only joined a year ago but they obviously didnt get on there ok. Like i said, sometimes its hard to start a new school not at the beginning. My son wont like having to wear a tie in September haha. It was strange driving back from there thinking I probably wont ever drive on this road again but have done for the past four years! I am kicking myself that the kids didnt start from scratch at the local school. but hey I cant do anything about that now.

As with the lonelyness and wollowing around in my own self pity I am thinking about getting back on netmums. I used to post on there before but there was never really anyone in my area who had kids the same age. they all seem to meet for mums and tots and when I was at work and kids at school but will have a look, there might be something going on in the hols when I am off.

Pammy, have a look at TPA's new thread and join us on our new street. You can be the survey queen and organise us all to do reviews etc. :)

You'll make some new friends soon I'm sure, in the meantime your new neighbours will look after you :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

withdrew another £10 from scratchies today :)

Had a great day at one of our local leisure centres today, they had a free family fun day where you could go and have tasters of different sports etc and when the task was complete the kids got a sticker and once they had four or more they won a medal. (which was a nice medal with the olympic games logo on it)
The kids were smiling all day and had great fun. We did Judo, table tennis, boccia, basketball, rowing, biking. dance mats, athletics, penalty shoot out. Kids are shattered now and we come away woth DD signing up to do Judo which is just a few streets away from us and DS enjoyed table tennis and have booked him in for a couple of sessions in the hols.
I dont mind as they have slowly stopped doing any clubs and have only been doing swimming lately so I have been trying to find something else they might like.

    hey pammy.

Sorry to hear your still feeling down. When I had a my daughter I had been so depressed at work and I was so looking forward to meeting a new group of friends separate to my work friends. When I was pregnant our antenatal group met up once a week, you know when half the people don't turn up but when those particular people do everyone loves them, yet good old reliable me just didn't seem to click with anyone. I guess as we lost my wage we couldn't spend much so I stopped using my mobile and they all texted each other so I was left out from the start. Then I started this first timers group which closed but there was a breast feeding group half of them went to so them lot all bonded and the group started to divide. They all seemed to give up work at about 24weeks so they sat around in the pub and chatted and I worked til my last week so I used to rush down in my lunch break to meet them. Alot of the meet ups involved spending money and I felt I couldn't spend our money when I wasn't working. A year on I don't see any of them even though I literally went to every meet up and I know a few of them are in contact and they had started meet ups separate to our regular one. It feels poo to feel left out, its weird when you're young at school you never realise you'll feel left out later in life. I hope I get a second chance if we have another baby. I feel like I've let her down as she has no friends to see and she hardly even sees her mum.

You can only do what your doing, its tough trying to integrate into new groups, even if you try and get involved with the kids activities etc it all costs money so you feel torn. Sometimes things seem bad and you feel you can't get out of it, I think you can only focus on everything you've achieved? Its rubbish having your life on hold especially when its for years as opposed to months or weeks but I guess ultimately we will reep the rewards, I hope things turn around for you soon, would be great to have a local supportive group of people. Good to document the bad times on here too, I'm gonna print my moans out when I'm done with the diary, so I appreciate the challenge :)

Hope you luck turns soon :)
