If I can help out with the children let me know. If you have a month then I can meet them before then. I'm Crb checked! Though personally I'd be in inclined to pick the kids up early.
I also agree about the CSA. I have a private agreement too. When ex messes about I threaten to check in with his other ex and the CSA and he soon behaves.0 -
Thanks thats really kind of you. Thanks for the offer. We will have to meet up one day lol
I work round the corner from the hospital in K so would work in the morning and leave half hour early so would be silly to come all the way back to W to get the kids from school.
I may chance my cheek and ask a couple of the mums if they would take one each and then repay the favour on another day. Im quite shy like that thoughMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

I need to sort toluna out again, do spits and starts on there.
Just done 3 GTM and have finally redeemed again on there hooray!
Had a granny cat nap earlier, you know the sort where you are sort of sleeping but you can still hear most things going on, feel loads better for it. How old am I lol?
The next progression with ex grrr, he had the cheek to ask if he could pick the kids up earlier on Saturday, but hes the one throwing it in my face that the times cant be changed. I asked him if he still wanted me to go csa as he was the one that suggested it and he said if I did then he would stop my payments. I told him that I would ask his parents to pay while he did that and he said why would my parents give you money! I said because they care about the kids a lot more than you do. grrr he makes me so mad!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

:rotfl:I love Granny cat naps. In an afternoon the kids ask me to get on the sofa with them wrapped in a fleecy blanket, and its great. We are not that old. Just busy mums.
Such a shame the ex is being a PITA. I would be sorely tempted to ring the CSA anyway. Not like he is being at all reasonable. Not like you are asking for anything excessive that he couldn't easily do. I bet in a couple of years your kids will not want to spend time with him at all. Especially your DD who is already seeming to recognise how selfish he is.
Does he not see what wonderful little people they are?
Keep your chin up Pammy. Wish i could do more to help you out. Are you going to be cheeky and get some school mums to help out? I am equally shy as you though. I hate asking for help from anyone and would rather struggle through myself. I think i might have to sort someone either taking DS to nursery or watching DS2 if he gets the dreaded pox next week, and i am dreading it. Obvious answer is my neighbour as she has the same. Ds with the pox now, and baby who is pox free. I will broach the subject tomorrow.0 -
Sorry you are having such a tough time at the moment! I can't offer any words of wisdom or advice, but wanted didn't want to read and run!
Grumble, grumble about your rubbish ex - he is only shooting himself in the foot in the long run - your kids will grow up and remember how you both treated them.

Thanks guys,
Its terrible that we feel we cant ask people but I know I would help in an instant if someone asked me and I would be honoured that they had asked me but I cant do the asking, its strange.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

I hope you said no, since times can't be changed. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
I'm with Michelle, go to the CSA. So what, he stops the payments, he builds up arrears and you get it all eventually. Arrears accrue from the date you contact them - if you contact them just after he has paid, he will owe you more:rotfl:
Also, I think he was going on about the CSA to psych you out and make you wary of doing that, probably 'cos he knows that you would get more through them.
Did you know you are entitled to some of his child tax credits, which I bet he is claiming? Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
