Just want to say first that Im sending hugs to those who feel a bit down etc today. There is some lovely advice on here. What particularly sticks in my mind is baby steps and look at what you have achieved rather than what you havent.

Its been scorching hot here and I had a lovely walk with mum. I was a bit sad as we bumped into GS1 and my GGD1 and I realised that even though mum smiled and said hello she didnt know who they were. Spent some time on the ward and talked to a lovely lady who I realised will be 90 on Friday. She doesnt have anyone so when the rest of the patients found out they are organising a little party for her. I think thats really nice.

Flying wise. Just got a bit to finish off in the bedroom. Then Im going to do a few little jobs.

    Toots Take it easy hun.
Lady L and poorbutrich Have a lovely time at Glasto.
    Dusty Hope Woody is ok.

    Evening ladies

Havent caught up with the thread yet (again) but I did notice that there were one or two who are feeling a little blue about not getting stars etc.

Well Kaz to the rescue as you cant be as bad as me and to prove the point I will provide the evidence.

Firstly the art is to declutter then the cleaning gets easier, I have managed to declutter downstairs but the upstairs I dont think I'll ever get done and as for the attic, well I wont even go there.

So feel free to have a laugh at my expense and realise that probably yours isnt so bad after all.

Looks like I cant post the actual pictures for some reason  so hopefully the link will work

    The bedroom

hello Flower. Well at the moment I have most of the wall units in the living room as I have an electrician starting tomorrow :D. The electrician is going to help mwe with the corner units. Thinking that maybe I should have waited until the electrician had been until I had fitted the doors as boy are they heavy. How was DS's exam? Hope it went well.

I think that I may have to post my bedroom pictures as I seem to have most of my kitchen up there at the moment :D

Yes but if I had a small bedroom I couldnt have that much clutter and I might be able to afford a carpet for it, oh and paint for the walls as I started some about 4 years ago but never finished them :rotfl:

In my defence I have no wardrobes ........................ but I do have a very large shoe cupboard (I just cant get to it)

Kazmeister, :T:T:T:T:T:T Thank you x 1000 for 'sharing', our bedroom is very similar to yours but with about a quarter of the space.:o:o:o:o

I feel inspired to go up in a mo and try and sort some of it out.

I'm convinced that it causes us to have bad, restless sleep due to the clutter.:(

But thanks for not making me feel alone in clutter land.:happylove xx

I've caught up on Sunday's thread, and have decluttered a large curry. VERY NICE too! Going to tidy up kitchen now, or might just go lie around a bit more!

    Welcome Lav

Mrs Beatson, I have never used Stardrops so it’s quite interesting reading your experiences of it. I may have to give it a try. I just use fairy liquid for everything apart from cleaning the loo, I use bleach for that.

Frodders, how exciting about your ten-year badge! I bet you can’t wait for next week!

FFP, how great to hear about HRH being so MSE! Saving her pocket money and wanting to shop around for her game to get the cheapest price! Well done, the younger they start saving the better I think, and she obviously understands the value of money which is a lesson some don’t learn until they are in tons of debt. Good for her, and good on you for teaching her so well. I like those Flyte bars too, especially as they claim to have less fat in than other chocolate! They are well nice

Well done Hex with the weight loss

Boddy, glad you had such a good time at the wedding, sounds lovely
