Feefee, sorry you're feeling down, I was like that a few days ago, you have done loads( I haven't done that much and I don't work!!!!), hope you feel better soon xx0

feefee - hope the cry does you good. I have to confess I had a good cry earlier - I'd been getting frustrated all day then finally exploded at the children which made me feel soooo guilty...
you've achieved so much today - much more than me. Even if all you'd done was feed and look after your baby that would have been a fab achievement.weaving through the chaos...0 -
Tooch I love the basket, and the 'cake' I'm always impressed by the way hampers look.
Poohbear, I only felt sad fleetingly...I felt more sorry for how you felt, it's demoralising when you feel like that. Hope you're better now.

FeeFee - please dont feel down, dont look at the mess and see what hasnt been done. Look at your list and see what has been done. You have achieved loads. Remember your house didnt get messed up overnight so dont feel you have to fix it in one day.
My house looks great right now because i'm doing booger all else, LO is at school and hubby is away. When i'm at uni and working etc the house goes to hell in a handbasket, you are not alone! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I think the nappy cakes are a good idea, was looking at buying a gift basket but they are at least £20, with only a couple of things in them, on the thread, tehre are ladies who put them together and sell them at craft fairs/to order.....HEY maybe I could start my own little business from home, mmmmmm, theres an idea!!!! xx0

Tooch, I used a cardboard box that I covered with wrapping paper to do my Dad's Christmas pressy last year. It looked great. It wasn't expensive either. I'd got a mug, and a tub of Green and Blacks cocoa powder and some bars of G&B chocolate. It was fab. If I'd wrapped them induvidually, it wouldn't have looked like anything, but displayed in the box they looked great. HTH.
Mind you, those hamper thread women are spectacular. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I just upset my rabbit, cleaned out her cage and put her hay in her house rather than in the feeder much to her disgust! She dragged it all back out again as soon as she got in:rolleyes: They all have their own little ways. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Hiya everyone
Afraid i've done none of the list so far. I hope to do the lot if it cools down one day this week. I'm afraid when it's this hot I just s/s and do the essentials. If it doesn't cool down i'll do it when it comes round next week.
Today i've;
-visited hospice
-walked dogs
-done online banking
-change ds's bed
-cleared up kitchen after dinner cooked
Now i'm going to watch the tennis!!!
Hugs to all xx
ETA - extra hugs to feefee and poohbear...just think how much more you've achieved by doing some flying....you're both doing fab and are fab so more hugs flying your way xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Now I really know how the special needs kids at school feel when they never finish/catch up with others:( I always thought I knew how it felt or at least could empathise, its worse than I thought.
Anyway, I am off to be miserable tidying my room, knowing I won't complete it:(
Don't be sad as you sure aren't alone. I think most of us found our way here because we were or in my case still are in a similar position. No student goes straight to A level without a few stressy moments on the way.
Strangely enough I find the whole 15 minutes flying, chip away at things method works very well with my autistic son. Rome wasn't built in a day.
You will soon fine that those small clean and clear areas magically grow bigger!!
Good luck from a fellow not a chance in **** of getting a star flyer :rotfl:Toxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0
