Hope everything goes well...I'm sure it will!

Hi all,
Can't believe it's been 8 days since I last posted on here. Time for a quick update..............
* Not much extra has been paid to the debts this week- we have got so many expenses to meet with a new child moving in and a holiday in august. I don't expect to make many payments over the next six weeks which is really  but from then onwards we should be able to really increase our payments each month (at least £3500 pcm:T).
* The visit went well and third child is moving in on 28th. It will be lovely to have himbut I am a bit anxious too. We have just got to the point with the other two are settled and happy and I'm hoping that the new addition to the family won't upset this too much.
* I'm continuing to do the scratchcards and this is slowly adding up. Need to look at some other ways of making income similarly.

Hi all,
Not much is happening on the finance front so I haven't really been posting much on here. Have realised though that I need to do a bit more planning for the hols to stop us spending tonnes on the kids. We went out today and ended up needing to buy lunch..... by by £20 for a sandwich and drink each at a 'cheap' cafe .
After conversation with the social workers it became apparent that the tent we wanted wasn't suitable for the long list of requirements they had so we ended up having to have a 4 'bedroom' one that has set us back £700 . Also have a few other bits for our hols that we will have to buy for the extra child. He's here at the moment (and staying tonight) and I am realising just how much work the three of them will be. Still if we can get them under control then it will be worth it in the end - they're such lovely boys.
Off to tackle my never ending paperwork pile........

Hi Ging, just thought I would pop in and say Hi.
You are totally inspirational (not only the fostreing thing which i cant praise enough as I have a freiend who still calls her foster mum 'mum' after leaving her about 7 years ago) but the finances aswell, you are seriously making a huge dent in those debts and all I can say is well done!!
I will be subscribing and reading with interest how the next few months go. Good luck!!Pay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -

well I have a 6 yr DS who is the best!!
He was pretty ill as a little one and i compensated by buying pretty (and expensive) things for him. hence my trials and tribulations on MSE lol
you are more than welcome to pop into my diary and have a gander at the goings on (not very interesting tbh) and help you could provide would be great. when I have paid this pesky 12k, i will be hitting the mortgage HARD (100k) and have a similar timescale to you to do it in!! :eek:Pay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -
Child three arrives tomorrow and I have tonnes to do beforehand.
The new tent arrived yesterday and the boys have had a great time playing with the boxes. Just need to inform the campsite now that we have an extra boy coming with us.... and hope they won't charge any more .
Off to make his room ready.
