I was thinking about MrsM and Beenie last night, hope they are both OK

Well I am sitting here waiting for the MW so that I can go and see Dylan. Jasmine is sitting beside me as she is still supposidly sick and cant go to school, although I'm not so sure !! She is feeling a bit put out at the minute as I have to keep leaving her to go and see Dylan, but we have tried our best to explain it all to her and she says she understands.
It must be hard being told you cant see your new baby brother, but mum and dad can whenever they want. Well hopefully that wont be for too long.

I just think it is so crap that she isn't allowed in MM. I'd be really angry about it. I was angry enough being told that DS1 couldn't touch DS2 would have went nuts if I had been told he wasn't allowed to see him. :mad: I praise you for being so diplomatic about it.

Hi guys,

Dropped in again while I have 5 mins. Had a mad weekend. Looks like DS has a peanut allergy. He tasted peanut butter for the first time on saturday tea time. He had 2 licks then spat it out and said 'don't like it' so we took it away. He woke up sunday morning looking like he had measles or something his face and arms are covered in hives bless him. They don't seem to be bothering him too much and doctor has given us some antihistamine syrup to help him leave them alone. I never let a peanut cross my lips when I was pregnant with him and it has made no difference. So I have eaten a snickers. I just fail to see how they can have any natural immunity if they aren't exposed to them when in the tummy.

I also had a fall over the weekend I didn't fall onto my tummy i stopped myself before I did but i think i would have done less damage if i had just let myself fall. I jarred myself under the bump really badly and i coudlnt walk. Had to go up to hospital to get baby checked out as i panicked I had ripped something. Baby was fine thankfully although I am now under investigation as I had raised temperature, protein in my urine and could scratch the skin off my entire body.

I never thought anything of it as I assumed I coudn't get obstructive cholestasis as I had my gall bladder removed a few years ago. I have to have more blood tests today - very annoying!! I had to do some swift talking to escape from the hospital as they wanted to keep me in. I don't see why as all I would be doing was sitting there waiting for test results to come back and I can do that here. Baby is still kicking me in so I am not worried about him for now.

Hope everyone else is faring better than me. Had a tough time these last few months what with tough pregnancy and hubby almost dying! This is all we needed!

Hhhmmmm diplomatic isnt quite the word I would use the frst time they told us she couldnt come in !! I said well then can she stand at the window and have a quick look at him? (his incubator is right beside the window, so he wouldnt need to be moved) And they said no to that too as only parents are allowed past the doors to keep down the chance of infection. To say I went a little bit mad is an understatement I felt really bad afterwards, its not the nurses fault. I am taking the video camera with me today so we can show her a wee video of him instead
