Morning Chopsticks! Just having a bagel and coffee before leaving for work or I will be starving by the time I get there. Beenie is around as she had used the thanks button last night/yesterday. Was going to ask after her, but my posts were getting to lengthy!
Not heard from Mrs Moc though - hope it's just a dodgy internet connection.
Hope you have a good day.

Ooh, morning Triggles and SS. Leaving for work now. OH is staying home today as we have decorators coming for the next 3 days. It's my turn tomorrow so will be able to chat all day!! See you all later.0

Chopsticks - thanks for the comment about "if stuff doesn't get done, it doesn't get done." Honestly, I have been stressing over a getting a bunch of little things done, but they don't really matter. The main things are taken care of - have the baby stuff ready, bag packed. Just have a few "house" things I'd like completed before the baby gets here, but in the whole scheme of things, it's not THAT important.
No problem Triggles. I honestly have a list that is nearly a side of A4 paper long with things on like clean out fridge, clean out freezer, sort out honeymoon photos (from 10 months ago!!), make meals for freezer for after baby is born, but I really am trying not to get stressed about it.
Nothing on the list HAS to be done and if baby arrives now then, like you, the bag is packed (although no birth plan written, so I should probably do that) and everything else will just have to wait until I find time in the next few years
As DH is at work and this is our first baby, I have the luxury of being able to do what I want really, so I've got a quite a few coffees and lunches planned in the next week or so just to get me out of the house a bit.0 -

Have a good day at work Fitzio.
Thanks for the update about BeenieCat. Hopefully Mrs Moc is OK too.0 -
Ooooooooooh, decorating. I saw a lilac/purply metallic paint on the B&Q website. I might get family to bring some samples over when they come so we can paint the nursery something fabulous.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi SS.
I think I might do a "you" and write a list of things that I want to get done today. However, I won't be getting stressed if they don't get done!
1) Get up for the second time!
2) Hang washing out that has been finished and sat in the machine for the past hour
3) Tidy dining room table
4) MW appt (must remember to wee in pot too!)
5) Buy nursing bras
6) Get new tyre put on car
and that's it!!
I'm thinking of going to M&S for nursing bras - any other recommendations? How many will I need?0 -
I was going to go up and do some cleaning in our bedroom, but DH was tired and went back to bed for a bit. Which now means I won't get anything done until after lunch, as he's in the room I want to clean and sleeping, so he can't take over toddler duties while I clean! sigh. Another couple hours shot.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

Chopsticks, I'd buy 1 or 2 now and more later if everything works out ok. They usually come in packs of 2 anyway.
I want to decorate our bedroom but been told no for 7 years, we've never decorated it in all the time we have been here and it is the most minging room you can imagine. Been told by DH that we will get it down when we convert the loft.... if that ever happens  And it's not going to be a paint job, needs carpet, new furniture, walls stripped, the works.0 -
Heh, chopsticks, I shall make my list and join you:
- Definitely find a midwife today. No more faffing about.
- Buy dryer sheets to get rid of the smell in the dryer from OH's basement artefacts
- Buy stamps
- Post card
- (this one's awful!) Attempt to return the adult toy someone gave me for my birthday and exchange it for something I might use
- Buy some bigger underwear
- Wash dishes
- Be nice to OH after he comes back from the dentist
- Move all the cluttery bits off my desk. Why does it get so messy?!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
