Fairy - at least you have a good reason for not doing much. I am just plain lazy! I am getting more uncomfortable, but not incapable!

Off to get ready now then out to do some shopping. Will have a look at the non-bio washing powder and decide. Probably won't bother washing the clothes anyway until I am on ML so still got a long few weeks. It will give me something to do!

    Catch you all later.

Re washing powder: in the USA we don't even have non-bio washing powder (I'd never heard of it 'til I moved here!) and clearly babies over there aren't dropping dead from 'normal' washing powder :D. I'm just going to use regular stuff and no softener as I've heard it's the softener actually that's the worst (and you're not supposed to for cloth nappies anyway)

What a load of smelly skid marked pants! Women need pain.

In that case, the men should be in pain too!

Grrr just wrote a fairly long post which got deleted

(trying to remember what i wrote)

This morning i woke up feeling sick, had a shower still felt sick. For lunch had some noodles and it made me feel so much more worse i was actually sobbing in OH's arms, crying that i want it to stop. He tried to make a joke out of it by saying "well last time you wanted MS"

Didn't help lol. I dont want it now! Its annoying because i cant actually be sick, its just feeling sick.

And now i have a headache from all the crying i was doing this morning lol.

I feel slightly better after having an apple but still... _pale_

    Pity me? :rotfl:

Must admit i just buy whatever, bio or non bio. Always washed the other childrens clothes in value washing powder , picked the lidls one up not knowing it was non bio. I am going to carry on using it.

Im finding now though that the cheaper washing powder , tescos value, morrisons cheaper own (although lidls is CHEAP too) just isnt shifting the stains anymore.

Dr Denis Walsh, who's one of the UK's most influential midwives, says that women should suffer in labour to prepare them for the demands of motherhood and encourage them to bond with their babies.

"A large number of women want to avoid pain. Some just don't fancy the pain [of childbirth]. More women should be prepared to withstand pain," he told the Observer. "Pain in labour is a purposeful, useful thing, which has quite a number of benefits, such as preparing a mother for the responsibility of nurturing a newborn baby."

I'd like to take this man and wire him to the mains for such misogynistic claptrap. What prepares a man for the responsibilities of fatherhood?
How on earth does being in agony prepare you for the responsibilities of looking after a baby?? last I checked I've not experienced excruciating pain while changing a nappy!

oh and to prepare daddy.. a few broken fingers and a swift punch to the balls when mum2be doesn't get the relief!

    no :p :rotfl:

It gets better. Make sure you get plenty of sleep. Not much else you can do. Try a sea band thing?

For me I just had to be in bed by 10pm, not eat till 10am and keep my mouth firmly closed.

I am soooo jealous that you all can still walk about shopping and do things around the house (never thought I would say that lol). My DD and 2 of her friends even came round to wash all the baby clothes and sort baby's room as I cannot stand for more than a few minutes. Sometimes I don't even think I will make it to the loo  my hips just won't support me anymore.
Consultant on Tuesday so will find out what the plan of action is, midwife has told me to expect booking in for c-section...... will mjust have to wait and see.
Just to warn you, if the spd is very bad they might want to admit you to ensure complete bed rest to prevent damage to your hips :undecided

Ps. non-bio doesn't necessarily mean its not going to cause a reaction, I'm allergic to the softener you get in the bounty bags - comfort?? also the Aldi non-bio brought Chris and I out in a very itchy rash :( I stick to fairy now its not worth the risk of trying others for me
