Morning ladies!

Congrats to Molly, look forward to piccies and BS when you get round to it.

We had our labour workshop yesterday. We found it to be really helpful The tour of the labout eard was really useful, got to see the pool, which looks a fab eay to go, the delivery suites, which are actually quite big and comfortable and the midwifery led room which is really relaxing ith cushions, paintings, TV, Hi-Fi etc. SO options for me are the comfy room or the pool, unless I have to be induced, then it will have to be a delivery suite. Our hospital seems really relaxed, which is nice, and basically it seemed anything goes. They are pro moving about and not being strapped on the bed being monitored (unless necessary ) They are quite happy to let you have use of the pool for a few hours or full delivery. No rules or regulations on what you can/can't wear. TBH, both hubby and I feel loads more relaxed about the birth.

We also talked about the stages of labour, pain relief etc. I know hubby has found it really invaluable. He admitted that before if I had mention pain he would have been - hopital, now!!, but now he feels comfortable with me staying at home for as long as possible.

We got more leaflets and things - the MW running the course basically said to pack for a few days away...we were given alist of things to bring for Mum and Dad but not baby :rotfl: I can post the list if it will help

Got a mystery shop meal and were gonna hit the cinema too later. Afternoon, cos I don't think I can last a full eve out. I'm starting to get tired about 8/9 pm, but last night I was up from 1-3 AM, then next door woke me hoovering and with music at 10...I wanted to stay in bed

:jHe he..!! :j Midwife just called and she is popping round today for my first appt with her. Go on hols next Mon and then scan day after we get back so was worried I wasn't going to see her as I hadn't heard anything,

He He... very excited!! :T

'Spose its means I really ought to get up now though and do some cleaning so she doesn't think I'm a complete ***** or can I just lie here grinning for a while?!!!:D
