Didn't say anything about testing before I drive. But the hospital is 30-45mins away. I'm not driving too much as it's hurting (another reason I think I have SPD again).

I think the tiredness is just me wanting to settle down now rather than the GD, but who knows?

I agree! Last night (as it was his birthday ) we decided to try with me on straddled on top but he said it felt too weird so we went back to spoons!

He doesn't seem to realise that I'm too tired and uncomfortable at the moment. Is it sad that I can't wait for the 6 weeks after the birth?!!!

    me too...
think thats why he's like this at the moment.

we've been lying facing each other but its not ideal.

i keep hoping baby will kick out really strong so he can feel it and may go ewww!!
i encourage baby to move but hasnt kicked out yet!!

Bump gets in the way so we stick with spoons

Everytime OH touchs my bump he stops kicking or moving! But yesterday he felt it and said god that's strong. I put OH off by saying 'Oh, baby is head down now' - in the vain hope he feels bad about jabbing his son in the head!

We've not heard from Molly yet - is she on Facebook? Can any check her status?

Mleh, I'm that swollen down there that we don't even bother trying any more. DH says it feels great though (woohoo for him), after we spend ages getting into a position that is at least not painful, but then he hits my cervix or I get a painful contraction and in the end it's just not worth it :(:(:( He only has 10 weeks at the most to wait anyway and there are other ways to have fun :D

We did a bunch of position experimenting, but at this stage my cervix is dilating already and I hurt in all sorts of random ways and just do not want to be bothered.

For people that still care about doing it, we found that reverse cowgirl worked, and since it was sore on my hips I put one of my legs in between his so they were less wide apart.

This is normally a conversation for later in the day, no?!

We're just back from Ikea. I asked them the other day what I needed for the Trofast stuff to fit the baskets to the shelves, and they sold me some plastic things. There were no "nails" (not the rude word!) with them, so we had to bring them back. And it turns out that the plastic things were completely wrong anyway, as was the size of the shelf they sold me. We replaced the shelf with a pack of the right ones and were told that we'd have to buy a multipack of "nails" for 99p each (we'd need 6!!). The inside of the shelf pack has all the "nails" we need. They are so useless.

AND one of the cupboards we bought needs returning and swapping for the bigger version. GRR.

Oh, and while they were trying to sort it out, I sat on a pile of other wooden shelves because I was getting to the stage of being useless, and three staff members tried to convince me to go see the Red Cross people on site because they assumed I was about to pop! Hopefully tonight.... we're already at 1-2cm and stuff keeps making its way out.

SS - when is your due date? I can only remember if people have it in their sigs!!!

I don't mind IKEA but it can be a faff esp. when you know what you want but need to walk 10 miles round the store to get it (and that's using the shortcuts!)

I remembered you saying about reverse cowgirl but tbh I couldn't be bothered to even try even though it is very good! ;)

And yes, it is a bit early and to think that we started it without SM and MM here! :p:rotfl::p:rotfl:

I'm glad everyone logged off for a while - I've managed to get a ton of work done and because I'm dead speedy doing it I can get away with doing it in 2 hours and putting down 3! If it was anyone else it would take 'em 4 hrs so I'm saving them money really

S e x talk so early? My OH won;t do it with bump, so I've not had any for ages. :( Think we have done it three or four times since I got PG. Feels like never!

We have put the screenign stuff up in the garden. I feel a but better now but it's not as good as a fence - we can;t afford to do the fence though so this will have to do.

I deweeded the patio while OH was doing it and ache now but have to get ready to go out for our meal. HAd wanted to paint outdoors this weekend but it's drizzling so we can't. Hope it is better tomorrow.
