skinty always wondered why you dont teach parenting classes???? i think you'd be great at it x

I have considered it. After the lady at my breastfeeding class asked me to be a peer supporter once baby is born, I've thought about doing the training and running those antenatal/parenting classes.

I'd really enjoy it I think, and there is actually a need in my town. Might consider it a bit more seriously now if you guys think I'd be good at it!

Fidget – I have been getting RLS since pretty early on (not every night though) and it drives you crazy! I have a mini scream and get up and walk about shaking my legs and trying to think of something to do! In the end I usually go to bed as I don’t seem to get it in bed – only when lying on the sofa! Very odd.

Glam – I am jealous that you are now finishing before me! You were meant to finish work on my due date and I was finishing work 4 weeks before you! Happy Birthday Mr Glam!

Suzy – Hope your DS is ok. A few people at my work have been off with swine flu. I think if you are going to get it, you will. There are only so many precautions you can take. It doesn’t appear to be worse than normal flu, just higher profile. They will probably tell your family to stay in for a few days and not venture out to contain it in case it is flu.

Just a quick catch up. Left work early as we are off to theatre tonight. Only remembered at lunchtime. Need to see if we can find the tickets and get there in time now. Wanted to go for a meal first, but think we will be cutting it fine!!

Also decided going to have to sell my beloved MX5.. its cost a mint the past year, so will need to sell just after I've found the buzz 3 fits in it!!!

Hey nanc - I've got a 1 series coupe and we chose the buggy to fit in it (bugaboo bee) as I can't bear to get rid of it! We only picked it up last November, so about 4 weeks before DH's (self-declared) super sperm did their thing  I did try to (pretend to) make a vaguely sensible choice (back seats, a boot) but really it was about enjoying the drive (there are 3 overtaking places on my drive home - enjoyed taking full advantage of one of them this afternoon :D) I am good though and never speed on normal roads

in 5 weeks time, this will be my last day in work :j

Glam - are you finishing before me then? I'm thinking 37 or 38 weeks but not sure yet. If I get knackered I might go earlier, though prob take some hols for it. Can't believe how soon it is!!

I came back! Was trying to clean a stain off the carpet but it won;t come out and I'm too bumpy to keep at it so OH will have to have a go.

I got this one http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/nursery-furniture/cosatto-olivia-bedside-cot/ but I also looked at these:

    http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10052&catalogId=11051&productId=120225

    http://www.bednest.com/index.php

    http://www.babyworld.co.uk/information/products/product_tests/cot/cot_full.asp#brio

We decided aginst the little crib ones as they will only last a few months and are still pricey, so we preferred one that would become a cot/cotbed later on. Ours is 60cm x 120cm so it is big in our room but a better value buy overall.
