Aargh, just did a long post and then it wouldn't let me post! Try again....OK, DH got home from work whilst I was getting ready, he searched for the theatre tickets and guess what - they are for tomorrow night!! Oh well, early finish from work for nothing. Now I need to think about making dinner though. Think it will be tuna pasta bake and garlic bread.
GISI - what do you work as? You start quite early sometimes so I keep wondering. I had a stressful day at work too due to my incompetent team of staff. It had settled down for a few weeks and I was just getting things tidied up and organised to hand over to whoever takes over, but then an error was discovered and the sh*t hit the fan and now my bosses want all sorts of reports done. They know it's not my fault and it's not a training issue, it's just that some people are stupid. But I feel like a failure and it stresses me out. I need to be watching everything, answering stupid questions constantly, and I just can't cope with them any longer. Rant over!
That sounds like a tough situation to be in. It's so frustrating when other people let you down and you end up taking the wrap.
I'm a store manager for a well-known coffee brand. Doesn't sound that exciting, but I have a team of 15 working for me which can be a challenge. Particularly when all you feel like doing is putting your head on the desk and going to sleep! To be honest, at the moment I feel like my manager is putting as much as possible onto me, above and beyond my usual stuff, to try and get me to go on Mat Leave early. I really don't wanna go any earlier though as I'm already leaving at 34 weeks ( 2 wks hols and 4 wks ML). I think if it comes to it I would get signed off rather than start ML as my doctor has already said she would be willing to sign me off as my job is mostly on my feet and I have a history of back injury.I havent been around much recently due to feeling carp and really bad pains in my bump which i am well and truley fed up of now. they cant find any reason for them so just keep saying they are stretching pains and paracetamol dosent do anything so i am well fed up now at 14 1/2 weeks and i cant remember when i slept through the night last. anyway moan over sorry:o
Just waiting to see midwife to see if i can get an anti d injection as it turns up i am rhesus negative:rolleyes:
Mainly came on to congratulate mrs moc - sorry it is soo late. And to give tara some labour vibes.
Hope everyone is ok and babies are behaving:D
JHA- you have my sympathy. That sounds miserable. If it makes you feel any better I really suffered at about 14 weeks, and it did ease off at about 16 weeks, so fingers crossed for you.
I've got my anti-D at 29 weeks, I think, so you've got a while to get it booked in yet.skintchick wrote: »Oh gah and double gah!
I am doing my amended MA application and have lost some of my payslips! Have emailed my old work to see if they can replace them for me - do you think they will? I said I'd pay if I need to.
Can't imagine why they aren;t with all my other paperwork.
Skinty- I can't see why they wouldn't send them out. I had some from my old work, no troubles. They aren't in the same format though, but had all the info on.
