I think I may be a little bit strange, but I think I am actually enjoying being pregnant. I love it when bubs has a good old wriggle - ok at times he can give me a good wack and it can be uncomfortable, but I love knowing he's doing fine in there, moving about. I am seriously worried I am going to miss him being there when he is out - I know I'll have a real baby to keep me occupied, but I love the time I spend [STRIKE]poking and tormenting[/STRIKE] bonding with him.
I'm the same, loving this stage of pregnancyDon't want the day to come when I'm sitting at work all by my lonesome with nothing kicking me to make me smile.

DH has just surprised me by coming home early and has just taken the dog out for a walk up the park, so I am going to curl up on the sofa with my book, before doing tea (being lazy tonight, just cooking pie, oven chips and microwave steam veg).

well the guys have emptied the dishwasher, put their breakfast and lunch stuff in the dishwasher (not wiped the top down but I'm not gonna say owt!) and have cleared a big space in the conservatory for OH's weights. They've lugged all the bug stuff upto the nursery and put all the carboot stuff in the garage out the way.
They are now making up the bench to bring in. Not a lot done but I can't moan, at least they've don something!
Am sure they will be wanting tea soon but I feel pooped! Just glad it's leftovers from y'day and not anything too taxing.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Just checked and the NHS exemption card only covers dental and prescription charges - not eyes. Also you can't claim refunds for things you paid for before you got your card.

Ok, so I've been doing my budget for next year - not super organized, just want to work out how much unpaid maternity to take. Can someone let me know if this sounds right. I usually work full time, total income of me and OH currently around £58k (although might go down to 4 days per week after maternity, fingers crossed work will let me!) so I think when I'm on maternity I will be entitled to CTC which will be around £10.70 per week while I'm off work then it will go up when I go back as I will be paying child care. Don't seem to get any WTC at any point. Then I also get £20 per week child benefit until the kid is older. Also get HiPG of £190. Think that is everything I will be getting. Should I have included London allowance and overtime in the salaries?

Hi all,
Nicki - sorry to hear about your weekend and DH. Hope you feel better soon
Glam - I get that pain in the bum cheek thing too. Sometimes it's that bad my leg almost gives way when I put any weight on it. I've only had it the past week or so though.
lou66 - I got my form at my booking in appt, like Tara. However, I don't think you get free eye tests with it. Someone more knowledgable may be along to correct me though!!
Congratulations to Jvic. Thank you for the BS too. Sounds scary, but I'm glad you and Tomas are both OK.
Mountainlioness - I'm 38 weeks now and still haven't written my birth plan. I know what I want, as does hubby, but haven't actually written anything down in my antental notes. I have my 38wk appt tomorrow, so am wondering whether the MW will ask me then.
Workinmummy - lots of hugs to you. Sounds like OH is being a bit of a nightmare at the moment :-(
honeypop - oodles of easy peasy labour vibes for you!!
Well, my intention was to get on here this morning on my first day of ML, but I've been busy busy busy instead (not quite to Sugar Spun's level of business, but pretty busy for me).
I went to meet the other girls in my antenatal class earlier, which was nice, A couple have already had their babies, but the rest of us are still waiting.
My feet are really aching at the moment. I've been stood at the photo kiosk in Tesco for over an hour, editing loads of photos from our wedding so I can make my mum and dad an album.
I phoned up Sky a while ago to cancel Sky Sports. We only have it for the football (well, DH does, not me) so we thought we'd cancel it for a couple of months, then get it back in August. When I rang up, they offered me exactly the same package (2 mixes, sports, broadband and phone) for £29.20 a month instead of the £37 we currently pay. That offer will last 6 months and she said that if we ring up again in December before the price is due to go up, they'll probably be able to do something again. Well pleased with that!
DH is playing football straight from work tonight, so won't be back until 10-ish. He gets dinner there too, so I just need to sort myself out. we had a BBQ on Sat night, and still have some leftover bits, so think I'll have those, as they'll need to be thrown out otherwise.
Also need to go and fetch in the washing, so will do that before it goes damp.
Will be back later on.

P.S I'm now only 8 from the top of the list!!!0 -
I'm shaking like a user man... I felt better without the labetalol. All I'm doing is whinging, feel free to slap me :rotfl:Not on the head though, my scalp feels like it's infested with nits
Managed to hoover and stick on the rest of the turkey breasts with new potatoes, carrots and onion to make a caserole. Need to do the dishes and do some washing/drying/ironing/folding/putting away.
Decided to make a start on my Christmas list after DH spotted a lovely mini champers, 2 glasses and a metal bucket in asda. It would look lovely with some stuff added to make a hamper, like more wine?! :rotfl:
Also made up a thank you gift for DS2's key worker at nursery, gift bag with Raspberry bath/shower gel, matching body butter, bath puff, fruity candles and a box of malteasers along with a card he made.
I love making hampers!0 -

I've never included overtime in budgets, I try to make them 'worst case' so that any overtime etc we do get, we can treat ourselves or save it away. So that I know what our bread line. Just my preference.0 -

Tia, do you really NEED to do the dishes and washing, drying etc etc? You need to be taking it easy. I'm not sure how old your other children are, but can they or OH help out?
OK, really am off to fetch in the washing now!!
