yep tara that's it! I'm always trying to shift around when driving - not exactly safe!

Sciatica is typically where the nerve gets trapped so you get the pain in your lower back or pelvis and a shooting pain down your leg (follows route of sciatic nerve).

I guess it could be but because there is no shooting pain down the leg it doesn't seem like it.

The funniest thing is when I've overdone it - sit down for a bit and then get up and can't walk!

Boys are making their own tea but asking a million questions!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

It's not sciatica, had that for the last 16yrs. MW said it was part of the SPD. Funniest time I had a problem was when I came out of the hairdressers and went down to the car park, there's lots of steps and one of my legs wouldn't move to go down them. Ended up using the disabled ramp! :o

Back to feeling sick whenever I eat  They are taking me off these tablets on Wednesday I am not putting up with 10 weeks of this!!!!:mad::mad:

I'm lucky I get to steal DH's car for longer journeys, his is a big 7seater and the seat is like a dining chair, very high and very straight so I don't get all cramped up. In mine I'm ok so long as I'm only doing the 10-15min school trip, but even at that I feel like I'm doubled over.

Hello lovely ladies....i'm v new to all this, found out I was pregnant last week (three positive test can't be wrong can they? ;-) ) & am off for my first visit to the MW tomorrow.
I have absolutely no idea how pregnant I am - I've been on the contraceptive injection for years and came off it mid February, we've only 'done the deed' a shocking three times since then (TMI?) but seemed to have hit the jackpot....thought we'd be practising a lot longer as most people say they take over a year to 18 months to get pregnant after coming off the depo...
I had a few pregnancy symptoms about 7 weeks ago and took two negative tests, but since taking the further 3 positive tests i think the earlier ones might have been wrong in which case I might be ten or 11 weeks pregnant  .... I almost hope so as it would explain the roundness of my tummy (i'm sure it's not just chocolate brownies!!!)
Could anyone tell me what to expect from the first visit to the MW - I probably should have asked her when I phoned but was still in shock :rotfl:
    THanks

    Hi and congratlulations Kampercat!
First visit to the midwife is pretty boring really..she'll go through medical history with you, and also your partners..prob weigh you, check your BMI, blood pressure and book you in for scan. I had blood taken on my 1st midwife visit too, don't know if it's standard everywhere.
love my little man he is amazing :j
