Hugs to WM - as my Mum would say if your too ill to go to school/work your too ill to play out :naughty:
Heen - lovely pic - a very chilled out little bubba there!

Exactly my philosphy, (and my mums) NMS. But unfortunately he had no such moral standings or work ethic really.

Hugs - GAWD I hate the pawing, stinky breath and the way they think they can have sex just cos they are pished - like it's a right!

He's got no chance. Am not giving in and have no intentions of speaking to him for a long, long time, I can go on for ever. Even have GTT test next Tuesday and app with consultant to discuss possible elective C section. Am quite happy to go to this by myself. As he is incapable of remembering anything that is not about him, i would need to speak to him to remind him and i'm not doing that.

workinmummy - my DH has been 'invited' out with the boys on 4th July - 6 days after I'm due! I've told him that if I haven't had the baby yet then he can't, and if he does and I end up going into labour that night then I won't ring him, I'll just go up to the hospital on my own! He was mortified and said I'd better ring him and he would be there in 10 mins. No way - not having a half boozed up husband making things 100 times worse!

Don't blame you pinkpig. Nightmare scenario. Not the going out that bothers me. He can stay out all night for all i care. Its the continual commentary on how ill and carp he feels all the time. Obviously not that bad if he can go out is it?

Any way, must go. Time to call DS in from playing outside. Shower then milk, then bed time. May return later if can get him in bed with no tantrums.

My DH  decided the last time I trooped upto the assessment suite, and was reluctantly allowed home, that it was a great idea to get bladdered, knowing that the Doctor was not happy with me going home and that I may have to go back up.

And why the hell do they get extra horny after a drink? I hate drunk sex, pawing, stinky, clumsy and you just end up going numb lets face it... that's if they manage to get that far...

and then there is the snoring.....

    Evening all :D

    Catch up first:

    Welcome to all the newbies

JVIC - Thanks so much for coming back and letting us know how you and Tomas are, I've been worried about you. So dare I ask your thoughts on UHW????

mollythewestie - I must admit I'm with you, after being on a diet for all of my adult life I've loved being able to eat anything I choose and I've been surprised at how little weight I've gained

Well as for me I've had a really productive first day off work and I'm showing no signs of stopping, all the washing done, house cleaned, hubby droped off and picked up from work oh and I managed to fit in coffee with some of my NCT ladies. Only thing left to do is meal plan for the rest of the week and I'm done :A

Tomorrow, it's off to the waxers  and I'm tackling the ironing, so if you hear on the news 8 1/2 months pregnant woman trapped in mountain of ironing you can all say you know me :D
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same

Thanks Tara, you beat me to it.

Welcome Kat and congrats on your news.

Sorry it took me so long, I'm still trying to figure out the fridge. Gave Mothercare a right good talking to. They are now sending out a whole new dresser. I am rapidly running out of patience with the whole thing and just want to sit back and relax for a bit.

Sorry you ladies are having so much grief from your OH's, can't really add anything constructive but you have my sympathy.

Did I miss news on Rhys today or has Elle been to busy to post??

    Hi girlies !!:D

I have had such a nice day today !! Sorry that all I seem to do now is go on about Dylan, but tough !!!

He was allowed 2 hours off his oxygen mask today, so I got to see his full face :D He is the cutest thing you have ever seen :j OK I may be a bit biased, but he really is cute when the mask is off, and all the swelling has gone down. He had an hour of tummy time too which was nice, but he didnt want to stay that way any longer. I havent had a cuddle yet, but have been told I might be able to get one before the end of the week :j:j:j

As a little side note on the debate earlier, it is very difficult to read some posts against sections, esp as mine was elective, and the condition that Dylan has really only affects section babies. I have already gone through all the what ifs and blaming myself that he would be home and healthy if I had a natural birth, but I did what I thought was the right decision for me and my baby, and we are not able to change that now. Sorry if that sounds bad, and I dont want anyone to stop posting their opinions and experiences, but can you all please keep in mind that we all need to be careful with how we word certain things. Thanks

    Helen the pics are great
SM hope you get your money sorted
Glam and tara, sorry your both in pain
NMS I was bored last night and played a lot of bejewelled !! I'm not top of my league though

    Killer heartburn again!

I'm eating mashed potatoes and gravy to try and shift it but nothing's working. OH is working tonight. He rarely goes out with the guys because he just gave up smoking and can't sit in other people's smoke at the moment, but he'll sit here and whinge about not feeling well. I do sympathise because I know he doesn't feel well, but there's nothing I can do about it and I'm fairly sure I feel worse.

    TMI:
More blood, also old looking, mixed with weird sticky clear stuff. Show? Or just midwife manhandling?

So I make turkey casserole and ask the kids what they want for dinner 'not that! Cereal!' is the reply. So I give them cereal and then get them to bed and DS1 comes down in a strop cos he didn't even get dinner, full blown winey voice with 'well if I got dinner why am I still hungeeee?'

I love my kids, I love my kids, I love my kids.....:mad::mad::mad:

MM - please don't feel bad, you did what was right for you and Dylan. He will be fine so you don't have to worry!

I knew it would upset people - I bit my tongue earlier but I did want to say that I find it very difficult to listen to advice from someone who is yet to experience labour or birth but seems to have an opinion (and a very storng one) on almost everything and makes people feeling bad for doing what the majority of people do.

Skinty - please think about how your posts might make people feel xx
